Remarks

The admission was on a merit basis. Various cut-off marks were declared ranging between 90 to 99 percent. The application form can be found in the college website where you can submit the form online and pay fees. The reservation facility is available for sc st and obc students. PWD reservation is also available. I think admissions should not be on a merit basis, it should be on an entrance examination basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course as I want to pursue a chartered accountancy course along with it so this course helped me in chartered accountancy exams as many subjects reconcile in these courses. The faculty is so good. In a class, a maximum of 50 students are there and the classes are divided into sections. The teachers are so helpful and knowledgeable. They try to help students to the fullest and the quality of teaching is superb. The teachers are highly qualified. The examinations are conducted on a semester basis. Along with this assignments are submitted in the middle of a semester. The level of examination is not that tough however it requires good preparation and concentration in the classes. The passing percentage is good.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies like ey, Deloitte, etc offer students various positions like assistant manager, article assistant, management consultant, etc. Various projects are assigned to select students. HR interviews, personal interviews, etc are conducted to determine the eligibility of the students. I am not aware of any specific task conducted.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for campus placements after they reach third year. There is a cell called placement cell. It provides all the placement details to the students. Various companies visited for campus placements like EY, delloite, tata, pwc etc. The average package offered till now is 500000. The highest package offered till now is 1500000 and lowest package offered is approx 200000. Almost 70% students get placed every year. After getting the degree I am planning to pursue chartered accountancy course as it is my life goal.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a government driven university, it is not costly. We need to submit fees thrice in the beginning of first third and fifth semester. The average fees paid per year is nearly 15000 which doesn't seems so costly even for middle class people. The college offers internship opportunities every year in big companies and stipend is also good. Companies like EY, tata etc organises campus interview and students are selected on there eligibility.

Campus Life

4

Ever year various fests are organised which involves inviting big celebrities mostly singers to the campus. Also during festivals various activities are performed in which students took part. Generally college fests are organised in the month of January. Various educational programs, webinars etc are also conducted. The library is so good and well structured. It contains books related to almost every course that is offered by the college. Along with this other journals are also there in the library. The classrooms are not that big and contains old benches. However various facilities are available in the classrooms. There is a sports ground in which various sports are organised and it also contains a gym along with a trainer. The size of sports ground is so good and various sports equipments are present in the sports room. There are various groups and societies which are run by students. One of there is NSS which organises various activities to help needy and disabled people.

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
