Remarks

It could be a bit more creative and a holistic approach should be taken to take students in. Like for example, extracurricular should be focused upon as well as not everyone is good at academics but they deserve to have a place to study and learn.

Course Curriculum Overview

I honestly chose the course as it was definitely easy in relation to other branches and as it provides excellent placement opportunities. The student-faculty ratio was not that great but still, it was manageable. Some faculties are great and some are just average. Exams were sometimes off track with time but mostly, they are punctual with the academic calendar. Not very difficult to pass the exams.

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 159000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Mostly the roles that were on offer were for the post associate software engineer in most of the companies. Mostly they were of 6-month duration starting from Jan to June or even earlier. Projects revolve around web dev, mobile dev, analytics, etc.

Placement Experience

Placements start during the 7th semester. Almost all the mass recruiting MNC's visited the campus like wipro, infosys, cts, Accenture and so on. The highest package this year till now has been 15 lpa. Last year it was 29 lpa. Avg package is 3.8 lpa. Most of the students get placed i.e. about 95 percent. I am looking forward to getting some experience in the corporate sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee wasn't hiked at all over the course of the three years that I've been here. Cost to study was 159000 rs per annum for normal BTech but for specialised courses, be ready to shell out 10k more. No such concept of On-campus job with stipend.

Campus Life

The fest takes place between the summer and the monsoon season. The library has been recently modified and it's actually great with PC availability now. Plenty of books to read. Classrooms are equipped with wifi and there's a projector in every classroom. The sports culture is great.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The room had a small cupboard and a bed frame along with a nice table and chair. It was all double accomodation during my time but maybe it's changed now. Meal quality in the mess is actually a mess to deal with. The registration process is smooth as long as the money flows. I moved out after the first year and rented a pg near the omega2 area.

Hostel Fee: INR 140000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
