Remarks

The main eligibility is the student should have completed their high school and should have passed the exam. If a student wants to apply to the college he/she must go to the christ website. The student has to select the course and the college location they would prefer since Christ has a lot of other branches in different places you will have to be specific about which place you would prefer. Once you enter into the course you have selected on the website they will tell you all the details of the course including the fees. I think the admission process is fine, just that the process is very long. But I do understand that hundreds of students are applying to the college every year so it takes a while to select the eligible students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have taken BCA (Bachelors in Computer Application) because I am interested in computers. I had always wanted to code and get involved in animation and graphics. Christ University is very well known for having the no.1 BCA program in India so this was more than enough for me to select christ college. The faculty to student ratio is 2:6. There are a lot of students, and the place is always crowded. The faculty are very skilled and motivating members. They are always asking the students to try doing new things and take part in all the events and functions that take place on campus. Their teaching method is very good since they provide notes and explain the concepts really well. I wrote my end sem exam for the first time offline and I think the questions seem easy but they are tricky. It's really hard to get a 95+.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

I don't exactly know much about the internship since I'm only going to apply for it next sem. Though I know many of my seniors who have got internships. A few of the companies that give internships are amazon, LinkedIn, and ey.

Placement Experience

2.5

Students allowed to apply for internships from year two and for job placement, they have to apply in their third year. for computer students atlest 80 to 90 percent get the jobs. the average salary for starters is around 30000. I still dont have a plan after my degree since i am still in my secind year.

Fees and Financial Aid

In a year there are two semesters, so each sem you have to pay half the fees. You have to pay the full fees per sem to write the ends sem paper. Students who don't pay will not get their hall ticket for the exam. The fees have increased due to covid by like 20,000. Christ receives donations and scholarships for the students who have lost their family members who were supporting the students to study. They also provide concessions to the students who are finding it hard to pay the fees. the students are always updated about the job and internship availability in their ails and the teachers tell the students about it.

Campus Life

5

College life is great when it comes to making new friends who have come from different parts of India and abroad. Christ allows us to have access to the library which has a lot of reference materials that we could use. Christ makes sure that all students get a chance to try to get into a club. I had given my best to join the football team, but could not make it. I had joined the labyrinth club. It is a club started by the computer students of christ. They provide courses that students find interesting and make them learn and build on their skills.

There are many companies that approach our college to hire potential students as their employees. The placement department has the data of students who would opt for placements and would like to get a job after the work is done. Companies like Cognizant, Deloitte, Moss Adams, EY etc. Have hired several students from our college and even I got placed in one of the companies that came here for placements.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placement compare to other colleges in ballari this college ia better for placement but disadvantage is they allow all colleges of bellary campus ao that be will have more competition When i was final year 0 companies visited because my batch is corona batch...so no one got placements As per my knowledge last year they got average is 200000 per annum and highest is 300000 per annum this ia last .that to they got only BPO jobs even after completing BCA Out of 50 members in a class only 2 members may get selected only one percent chance to get selected so dont dream campus placement in this college After completing BCA do MCA so that you may get knowledge and job both u will be seen as a engineer .or else do the course on your interested domain and get into the job . My advice is to do mca only two years and then go to job u will be more successful
