Remarks

The course is eligible for all types of students who have PCM in class 11th and 12thand have scored at least 65% in the 12th class. The application form can be find on the online website of VIT college, the application fee is around 3000 and application dates release around October in normal cases. There are no reservations benefits available in this college. In the admission process online, you have to be careful while submitting it.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course has many scopes of jobs in future. Faculty students ratio is pretty nice here. There are many professors with qualifications for a PhD. Their teaching methods are pretty nice except for language because there is almost everyone from the south side. The term exams were almost every month and a half and exams are not difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunity is provided in a 2nd year summer break by many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. The projects and tasks are given according to the language you have selected to do the work in.

Placement Experience

Students become aligiable for placements after the end of third year if they don't get pop from their internship company of second year. There were almost 800 companies visited the college and companies made offers from 10 lakhs to 40 lakhs. The highest package offered is 40 lakhs to one student and average package is 14 lakhs. The percentage of students get placements is above 80% . I don't have any plan after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty high for students in categories 3,4 and 5. The scholarship will be provided based on your performance in the admission test conducted by them. Almost every student can get a decent job from college even if you are average you just have to be patient.

Campus Life

I don't know the fest names till now because of COVID-19 but the fest is conducted near jan. Almost every book will be available in the library which was recommended by the professors to their students. Amenities in classroom is pretty nice. There is no complusory sports that you have to play in college but there are many sports which you can play on your own accord. There are almost every kind of club activities like hiking, coding, singing, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities which were provided in hostel rooms are very good. The meal quality of food is good as vegetable and fruits were grown by agricultural students in the backside of college. You can select your own menu there. Registration for a hostel is needed to be done while orientation the college will provide you link to choose or not. The affordability is average. I don't know any locality for room and pg.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

My insights on Vit Chennai

I applied for very less college.since my cut off was low the possibility of me getting any Anna university affiliated colleges were less. So i wrote entrance exam for Amrita University and Vit. I did get Amrita but felt Vit had better exposure. They were lot of reasons as to why I chose this college. Of most the colleges I searched this had mechanical with specialisation courses. Doing a minor in something will make me a step ahead of every other mechanical engineer. I also compared the curriculum with many institutions,this was far by the best with perfect exposure. They have variety of other non graded courses to help me focus on my hobbies and interest. Their tie ups with many foreign institutions and industries will be an advantage for me if I use it in the right way. Again the only way of getting into Vit is through their entrance exam VITEEE. Since my cut off was low I had to rely on these entrance exams.
