Remarks
The admission in a college is both through JEE Main and 12th boards. 50% intake from JEE and 50% from boards. Only SC/ST students can avail of a reserved seat and there's also a sports quota. Nowadays because of the pandemic, every bit of the counseling is done online so it's very hassle-free.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of my branch is pretty good. We are taught every basic subject required to excel in the field of Computer science. The faculty to student ratio is around 2:100. The faculty is very nice, most of them are Ph.D. holders. Every sem we have mid-semester and end-semester exams which are moderate to difficult to score in.
Internships Opportunities
The college along with the placement also provides numerous internship opportunities for the students. Big companies visit the campus and hire the 3rd year students on a hefty stipend along with a PPO the very next year. Every student is required to work on a capstone project in a team of 3-4 students in the 5th semester.
Placement Experience
The colleges' fees are too much but the placements are at par with it. The average package in the computer science branch is 9-10 lakhs. Every moderate to big company visits the campus every year. Almost 95% of the final year student are placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees per sem are around 2 lakhs so that makes the total academic fees for the year to 4 lakhs which is very costly for some students. There are scholarships for students who are financially weaker and are good in academics.
Campus Life
The campus life is one of the best in the country. Regular tech fest, cultural fest, and everything. There's no ragging on the whole campus and everyone is very friendly. The sports complex is just amazing. And the classrooms and labs are very well equipped too.
