Remarks
The admission process is very sorted. Everything is available online on the college's website. 60% intake in B tech is from JEE and rest 40% is through class 12th boards. That is 50% through JEE and 50% through boards. Obviously, the intake is merit-based except for the reserved seats for sc/st candidates and the ones applying under sports quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had a lot of interest in computers and thus I picked this branch as my major. The faculty: students ratio is 1:55 and the faculty is very qualified. Almost 90% of the faculty are Ph.D. holders which proves the amount of knowledge they have. The teaching method of almost every professor is great. Exams are held timely. Once during the mid of the sem and once at the end.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of the companies hire students as interns on a stipend ranging from 25k - 1 lakh, and these companies after a year also offer a PPO to the interns. Roles offered in cse branch are often software developer engineers. Projects are to be made by every 3rd-year student in a group which is called the capstone project.
Placement Experience
Every student from 3rd becomes eligible for campus placement. A lot of companies visit and almost 90% of students get placed every year. The highest package is approx 40 lakhs and the average package in cse branch is 11 lakhs. The high fees of the college gets compensated here because the offers by the companies are amazing.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees per sem are almost around 2 lakhs that making the total in a year to 4 lakhs which is a lot for mid class families. For the students whose annual family income is below 10 lakh, they can get the benefits of scholarship which is on merit basis.
Campus Life
Not gonna lie the campus life of this campus is amazing. You'll fall in love with the campus. It's very beautiful. Fests are organized regularly all over the year. There are almost 40 Clubs/societies in the campus. The sports facilities of the campus is also A1.
