Remarks

Eligibility of the course- 6 CGPA in Bachelor degree Eligible courses- UG in mathematics(preferred), statistics(preferred), computer science, commerce, economics, and engineering in a recognized university. Reservation benefits- All are treated as a general category and seats are allocated completely based on CGPA Improvement in the admission process- Everything is good

Course Curriculum Overview

4

About the course- I love business so I chose business statistics as my PG program. Business statistics helps a business to deal with forecasting and sound decision-making by providing accurate estimates about sales, demand, and price. Helps in business planning based on assumptions and predictions Faculty ratio- 1:12 means 1 teacher or faculty looks after 12 students on average VIT faculty review- Most of the faculty are helpful and knowledgeable. Almost 80% of the faculty are Ph.D. degree holders. Few faculty have industry experience also. Probably most faculty teach through PPT which makes it more interesting to listen to the class. Exams- We have 4 semesters each semester that carries 2 Continuous Assessment(CAT) and 1 Final Assessment(FAT) and for the final semester have to do a project or internship. Exams are quite hard but to score well, maintain the internal marks with a good score which is easier like Digital assignments and quizzes more than a semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship- The PAT(Placement Center) provides different internship offers for students on their stream. Few which I know are CTS under regular category with 15,000 stipends, amazon under super dream category with 75000 stipends, and a few companies are giving a direct job offer. Under super dream offers, you can get great companies with good stipends and CTC. Projects- From the 1st year of academics you have to do the projects and you have to give the presentation of the project which you completed after 3 months and the duration is based upon the project.

Placement Experience

3

Placement eligibility- From the starting of the final year students can apply for the companies. Companies visited- TCS, CTS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, AMAZON, UPGRADE, ACCENTURE, CAPGEMINI, etc., Salary- Upto 20 CTC salary packages are offered and an average of 6 CTC as dream offers Students placement- The great thing in VIT is getting placed as my experience because before leaving the institute 95% are placed. My plan after getting the degree is to go for a job which I got through campus

Fees and Financial Aid

About fees- Cost to study is 82000 per year, for 2 years it is 164000. I think this is reasonable for this course. Campus- I got placed on a Regular software job with 4LPA per year in my 4th semester.

Campus Life

3.5

Fest- Rivera is the annual fest that consists of sports competitions, social and cultural events along concerts. Library- The central library spreads over an area of 7700 sq m with 6 floors, it has a video conferencing facility and it has more than 2 lakhs of books. Amenities in the classroom- It looks like a normal decent classroom with a projector( faculty may use) and a huge whiteboard. Overall the atmosphere of the campus will keep you always calm and cool. you have very good places around the campus to relax. Sport- VIT has no. of centers for sports activities and physical education to maintain physical fitness for students and you can utilize scholarships from the sports also. Clubs- There is n number of clubs running by VIT students. Based on the student's interest they can join different clubs

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers all core Chemistry subjects with good lab work. I chose this course for strong academics and research scope. The syllabus helps for higher studies and competitive exams like NET, SET. Practicals help in real applications. Exams are held each semester. Difficulty is moderate and most students clear easily,More workshops and industry training can be added for improvement.
