Remarks

K.R. Mangalam University has an excellent scope of courses infact they have now introduced few new branches like Hotel Management and subjects like Data Science with specialization from IBM. Yes, there is an enterance exam which you will need to give while you visit the college. They have active portals for admission forms, fee structure, and various other subjects. They have a well-organized Management System for new admissions (no improvements required).

Course Curriculum Overview

As they have their own affiliation so the course curriculum is different and excellently patterned. I choose a 4-year B.Tech (Computer Science) course because I was very keen to learn about the latest technologies and everything about computers. This college has a great management as to very 10 students there is a mentor whome we look to for any kind of help. The faculty is highly qualified and well trained. The exam is scheduled every 2 months: CAT(in the beginning of the semester) Mid Term(in the middle of the semester) End Term (in the end of the semester).

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Placement Experience

Right from semester 7 students are exposed to outer world opportunities. Top MNCs like IBM, Amazon, Mahindra visit the campus for placements. Packages can go as high as 12 LPA. University gaurantees 100% placements. I am planning to join cyber security after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a private institute fees is a little high but affordable . They provide scholarship on the basis of marks scored in 12th standard. On top of everything they have good placements opportunities with Top MNCs like IBM, Amazon, etc.

Campus Life

As we say all study and no play make Jhon a dumb boy. So colleges equally focus on extracurricular activites too. College has an excellent scope for games and fun activites. Every year they organize fests and sports week in which many colleges come to play at the inter-college level. Seminars and workshops are conducted almost every month. They have an active social club like NSS.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - worth it in the big 26 ?

Likes

The variety of food, books and lush green gardens
The quiet and pleasant places carved feels like home
No need to rush things the warmth in the air and the affordable rates

Dislikes

Due to rural surroundings often things like traffic jams and riots happen
Langauge barriers do occur sometimes but its okay now
Attendance criteria is strict and on-off campus roaming is a little hard

Placement Experience:

Around 4th year 7th semester students are well prepared and ready to go into companies for more insights and experience. Companies like Kia, Indigo, Hero, Honda are quite active in selecting students from our department. After the degree ill prolly do my masters and then ill look fir a job

Campus is very big and many things to explore
We have Good infrastructure and sports grounds
There are many canteens and varieties of food available

Dislikes

Location is not on road it is back side of a village
College is till 5 pm in evening and it gets very hectic

The curiculam is quite good and classes are placed accordingly we have good break in between and its quite enjoyable to attend college regularly The fest and programs are amazing it is good for a student

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Placements are available for final year and June and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester companies from it software and management sectors visit the campus placements opportunity at Decent with package wearing according to company and student scale I plan to build a strong technical skills so internship and projects and aim for a good job in aml field after graduation

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
