Remarks

The first reason is National Institute of Technology Warangal has best faculty and best placements. The second reason is it is in my home state Telangana. I availed the home state quota during counseling to get a better branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose mechanical engineering in my B Tech at National Institute of Technology Warangal. The reason is I was always interested in Physics since my childhood and I like dealing with mechanical objects. Faculty were most experienced and helped in everything. Everyone of faculty has at least few Ph D s and good amount of industrial and teaching experience. Teaching method is good. We had good curriculum. There were two minor exams, one mid and one end semester exam each semester and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to tough.

Internships Opportunities

For internships, companies like ITC limited ( 1.5 lakhs per month ) , Bajaj( 20k per month), Reliance(30k per month), Aditya Birla(10k per month), Cummins(10k), JD OFBusiness(50k) have come for internship. I don't know any of the projects. I did a research intern in IIT Patna. My project was design and simulation of camera gimbal for micro drone category.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. For my branch, companies like ITC, Bajaj, Exxonmobil, Bosch, Tata, Maruti, JK tyres, Affluence systems, Thermax, HLS asia, Vedanta, Coramandel, KEC international, Addverb, Mondelez International and Software companies like oracle, Fractal Analytics, ZS associates, citibank, axis bank, have come for campus placements. Highest package was 27 lpa offered by Oracle and Average package is around 9 lpa for mechanical students. 90% of students got placed. I joined Bosch limited.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For a General candidate or OBC candidate, the course fee is 62500 per semester which counts to 500000 for four years. College provides scholarships every year for merit students ( top 10 students in each branch ). Bank provides loan for tuition fee if required. Almost every student gets On campus placement and the average salary varies according to the branch.

Campus Life

There were two fests each year. Technozion would take place in October and Springspree in March. The first one is technical fest and the latter is cultural fest. There are numerous books available in the library which covers almost everything related to our studies. Sports and extra activities are always a part of student's life. All sports equipment are provided by college. There are many clubs like science and hobbies club, patriotic club, Film committee, News and magazines club, Quiz club, NCC, NSS etc. and most of them are run by students.

The process was Online Test, Interview.GD topics depends on the company that is hiring. General topics like Education, Nature, Sports, Politics etc. will be there. Interview questions were mostly asked from core concepts, few behavioral managerial questions were also asked. I prepared core subjects and presentation of my projects interns.

Shoes are mandatory. The dress code is very strict

Heavy work load and assignments and too many rules
Difficult commute and strict attendance rules
Exam stress and Early morning classes limited free time

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are fairly good. The college has a dedicated placement cell that helps students prepare for recruitment through aptitude tests, technical training, communication and interview-skills sessions, and placement drives.

Dislikes

The college maintains strict discipline, which can sometimes feel restrictive for students.
Attendance requirements are quite strict.
Some procedures and permissions can be time-consuming and rigid.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally available for final-year B.Pharmacy students, with eligibility usually starting from the 7th semester. Companies may offer roles in pharmaceutical sales, quality control, production and related fields. Package and number of offers vary each year, so I would not mention unverified figures. The college provides placement support, but students should also focus on internships and skill development. After graduation, I plan to pursue higher studies or seek a suitable opportunity in the pharmaceutical industry.

Good interaction between students and teachers.

Dislikes

Force to wear shoes slippers not allowed
The lunch break is too short, so there isn’t enough free time to relax.
No college programs or festivals. the college focuses only on studies.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies visit the campus and offer roles in sales, production, quality control, regulatory affairs and clinical research. The highest and average packages vary by company and year, usually depending on the profile offered. A good percentage of eligible students get placed. After completing my B.Pharm, I plan to gain industry experience and pursue higher studies or specialize in a suitable field.

Likes

Food availability and other requirements in the college are good
The amount of events they conduct to create about drug free society
They ask us to acquire good pharmacist skills in the early stages

Dislikes

The college is very disciplined. It works very systematically
The college management do not allow us without identity card and proper uniform
The college staff do not permit into the labs without apron

Placement Experience:

All the best company takes the students for interviews. Our Dean sir do his best to make sure every child get the job in the college it self. He is very dedicated towards the placements through his connections

Packages vary by company, with average offers around ₹3–5 LPA. Placement percentage is moderate. After graduation, I plan to pursue higher studies and build my career.

Worth considering for your tech career

Likes

The college starts focusing on skill development from the first year instead of waiting until placements
The campus environment is positive and motivates you to stay productive and keep learning
The faculty is approachable so its easy to ask questions and get guidance whenever needed

Dislikes

The workload sometimes can feel intense during project submission weeks
I would like to see more cultural events and entertainment activities throughout the year
As it's still relatively new so there's no proper placement data yet

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Likes

Sufficient time for developing skills in various fields
No financial pressure on students for examinations
Comparatively better placement rate and stats

Dislikes

Campus size, it is very small and insufficient
Infrastructure is very minimal and doesn't look like an engineering college
No hostel facility for non-locals, no bus facility for day scholars

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

The equipment and training classes are really good

Dislikes

Faculty is not that good they are not aware of the topics they are teaching itself amd they are learning along with the students idk why they hired them as professionals to teach us

Placement Experience:

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed
