Remarks

Yes mobile phones are not allowed in this college and if anybody found using mobile he has to free his mobile from the security office against a fine of 500. This thing is not good for a college student.

Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE. I wanted a technical course and I am in general category so didn't got any nearby government college. This college was near from my house and had a good repo. So i took this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum was good. We had a choice to choose some subjects in 6 and 7 semesters and final semester we had a choice to choose any or all subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Nothing was offered. Our college is bad in this thing. It don't help its students in getting internship in any year or semester neither offer any stipend.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are good from most of the colleges but they arr only good for computer science and IT students or ece. They not so good for EEE, mech and worst for civil engineers.

College Events

3.5

College events are good. Momentum our cultural festival. Cerebration technical festival Many other events like rose day celebrations and other departmental level events are organised and they are fun to participate. They are quite good as stars come in them. Other college students take part in them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is a bit expensive. Its twice the fees of a normal college. But the whole college is air conditioned so it cost more and quality of teacher and education given is better than other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes our college offers scholarship to economically weaker students and high scoring students only who score the highest marks in the department.

Campus Life

3.5

This college is more on the discipline side lesser on the enjoyment side. But the door of the university is always open so one can go outside any time he wants and enjoy.

Hostel Facilities

I was not in the hostel so i can not tell more about it. But the hostel was good. Strict rules were followed to eun the hostel. The food was good hostel was a distance away from the campus area.

Alumni/Alumna

No comments on that. I was not in well contact with the seniors apart from one or two. Everyone in the free time go out of the college to enjoy and have fun.

Exam Structure

Exams are not so frequent but sometimes they are very frequent to leave you no choice to enjoy but study. Labs are good and well equipped to study things.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is well trained and qualified. But there are always exception of one or two like i said faculty was well qualified as most of them were from IIT's or NIT's.

Good Campus, Good Learning and Overall Experience

Likes

Good campus with a lot of greenery and a peaceful environment for students.
Teachers are mostly supportive and actical classes are helpful for understanding the subjects.
Good labs, library and sports facilities with many activities happening on campus.

Dislikes

Some administrative work takes more time than expected and can be a little confusing.
Hostel and mess facilities can be improved, especially in terms of food variety and quality
Sometimes the workload and attendance requirements feel a little stressful for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is quite relevant and covers the important basics of Biotechnology. We get both theory and practical classes which helps in understanding the subjects better. Exams are usually moderate. I think more industry based projects and practical exposure can make the course even better. Overall, I am satisfied with the curriculum.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Truth of NCU(The NorthCap University)

I didn't chose this college, I was forced by my parents to join it as they had heard that it was one of the best Engineering colleges in gurgaon. If i knew how the college really is, in my wildest dreams i would not have taken admission in it. I have not got rejection from any college. Admission process is very simple, if you have money you get admission. There is no elegibilty criteria, only money matters here. They are so low on there morals, they now treat students as atms. no focus on study, bad environment, worst crowd,no managment, not safe for girls, etc....Read More

I applied for IPU but my family didn't wait for the results from that college that am I selected or not. other students of my age were getting admissios so they wanted me to also get admitted as soon as possible. They also didn't want that I stay away from home so this was the closest college and in gurgaon it is better than any other college. so I tried here I and I got easily admitted. this was actually not ony list but here I am. I had a JEE score of 70 percentile and with this I got my admission letter. they also have a college exam who don't have a JEE score...they need to do a paper made by college and if they pass then they get admission too....Read More

Inside the northcap university- the real deal

I applied only to direct admission colleges i didn't really apply to any but yeah considered the ones near my place like kr manglam and gd goenka, i also thought about amity or bennet which are in noida but i didn't apply to them as they were far and gd goenka and kr manglam were charging more fees . Northcap was the cheapest and the nearest so i applied to this college only. I just filled the admissions form online paid the fees and got admitted as i said its a direct admission college so they take in just anybody but still my class's strength is only 27 lol not a very good college overall but the cheapest sooo. But if anyone can pay extra then i would suggest amity over it . Its better in study aspect in all delhi ncr...Read More
