Remarks

The admission process was very easy. You just have to register yourself on the DU Admission portal and after that according to your marks and cutoff list you just have to pay the fee then you will get admission to the college. I have got admission to the 4th cut off list with 91 percent that's because I fall in the OBC category. And for this, you just have to attach your Central OBC certificate which should be renewed on the current year date. Also, remember the certificate should have the same detail as your mark sheet have. If you have applied to other colleges before and you changed the college then the balance of fees paid will be given to you after writing an application which is a very easy process.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I had an interest in accountancy and business studies subject. So it is better to pursue the course in which you have an interest. And in this college, this course has a different place because of its faculty and teachers and students. The teaching method of teachers is very impressive. As we know we are currently studying online so they are using MS teams and they provide separate college mail IDs for login. So it's a very safe place to study and a very interactive session. The exams happen every 6 months. Our course is divided into semesters. Each semester you will have new teachers. So, you will interact with many teachers of your course. Also, they tell us the important questions according to their experience and exam patterns. So it's not that difficult to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is a separate society which informs you about different internships whether it's paid or non paid. There are many multinational companies and most of them are from educational sites. And if you do your internship seriously you will also get a stipend, letter of recommendation and certificate. Which will enhance your Curriculum Vitae(CV).

Placement Experience

3

The placement cell of the college doesn't provide that much placement. There are only 5 to 6 companies visiting for recruitment. It's up to you to grab that opportunity. There are many students who got the placement from college and the highest package was 4.5 lakh per annum in BCom Honours course. Also, you will be eligible for the placement in the third year. But there will be internship opportunities in the second year and first year which you will be get informed by the college. And also it's not compulsory that you will get the job only from the college itself, after completing the degree you can go to different companies and give interviews based on your skills and interest.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of this college is very affordable because it is off campus college. And there will be not that much cost to study. De provides us books from the library which you can issue semester wise. But there are not that many opportunities to get a scholarship for any financial assistance. The placements of students are not that much. But there is a placement cell with companies visit. So it's up to you, your hard work and skills grab that Limited opportunities. And there are many societies which will inform you about paid and non paid internships.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is not that much because it's an off campus college. But there are many fests which occur in the college itself and many extracurricular activities. There are many societies just like theatre society(Shades), music society(Anhad), debating society(Advaita) and many more. And outside the campus, there are many cafes and restaurants where you can hang out with your friends because the college canteen is not that good although the food quality is best. The college has free Wi-Fi access to the students. This college is nearest to Pitampura metro station. So it will be easy to explore Delhi with your friends after college or before college.

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.
