India's IMT is a well-equipped institution. International Immersion with global partners, 100 percent placement aid, and NBA certification certificate are just a few of the benefits of selecting IMT. I was accepted into the general category. The admission criteria are straightforward, and they are based on passing the entrance exam and interview. IMT offers a variety of specialties under the PGDM programme.
Course Curriculum Overview
So far, I've found the course curriculum to be both good and bad. PPTs and guest lectures are used to teach us the majority of the time. The amount of time spent reading books is relatively limited. This programme offers five different specializations. Professors at IMT adhere to the principles of learning pedagogy. As the course progresses, we will be handed assignments. We were also required to present on the topics discussed in class.
Internships Opportunities
The campus attracts a large number of enterprises, estimated to be around 200. Big brands, as well as a few small businesses and startups, provide a variety of job opportunities. The opportunities are fantastic, and the stipends and CTC are really generous. During summer internships, academic advisers are also available to assist students.
Placement Experience
Summer placements for two months are available in the first year, and you may also receive a pre-placement offer from a select firms. In the second year, final placements commence in term 4. The process is simple, and many brands come to tour the campus. For the 2022 batch, the highest CTC was around 62 lakhs, while the average was around 15 lakhs. In just 17 days, 517 students were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is costly to attend IMT. I applied for a scholarship because I come from a middle-class family. For students like me, there are numerous scholarships and financial aid opportunities. Campus Life
Campus life at IMT is pretty fantastic. The campus is perfectly equipped with all available facilities like gym, mess, all sorts of indoor and outdoor sports, Amphitheater of recreation, library, Bloomberg terminal, Nescafe, double and single sharing rooms, and even a separate hostel block for women students. Classrooms are well-equipped with a wide range of amenities.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a group discussion as well as one round of interviews. The subjects were broad, with some grilling on general awareness, subject knowledge, previous degree knowledge, and current affairs relevant topics during the interview round
