Remarks

The Eligibility criteria for taking admission in galgotias College of engineering and technology is very simple. First you have to clear jee main exams after that you have to sit in the council rounds which is held by aktu on the basis of jee mains score and you have to choose preference for this college and wait for your admission. If you want direct admission in galgotias College of engineering and technology simply admission form is available of the official site of galgotias College of engineering and technology fill it from there and wait for the college response.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opt for computer science and engineering because I want to do engineering from computer science and engineering branch only. The faculty are good in the college there are some IIT passed faculty also. Most of the faculty is from NIT or IIIT. There are sessional exams conducted by college after completion of few units which held afte 1.5 months breaks regularly. Exams are not so hard to pass. If you study you will pass easily.

Class Size: 138Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are many internship opportunities from our galgotias college of engineering and technology. I'm in 2nd year right now so I don't have so much information about this point. But I heard about the internship opportunities are many in galgotias college.

Placement Experience

4.5

In our galgotias college there is approximately 98-100% student get placed in the companies from computer science and engineering. The students are eligible to sit get internship from 5th sem only. There are many companies which visit in galgotias college are like Infosys, Tata, hero, TCS and many more companies. There are many students get placement by applying off campus and get placed over 1cr. And the campus placement average is 5-6 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of galgotias college of engineering and technology is not that much as compared to other colleges in UP or outside UP too. And about the scholarship I don't know that much. But UP government scholarship is there for that you have to match eligibility criteria of UP government scholarship on their official website and regarding college scholarships I don't have that much of idea but it is mentioned on their official college website.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in our galgotias college related to coding, management, technical and many more. You can be the part of these clubs by giving audition in these clubs which held every year. And remaining about the fest that I never experienced due to covid but there are some movie shooted in our college like 'meri IIT vali g.f' which is on YouTube.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
