Entrance Preview

I 500000 rank in JEE MAINS and so there was no option to take other than engineering for me as i was not interested in medical or other higher studies. And the process admission was simple just after counselling i got seat in that college.

Internships Opportunities

As a 1st year student i didnt know about the intership experience. And for students those who wants good carrier in engineering line i will suggest this college is not for u as i came to know that there is very less placement and with my knowledge there are no such a big interships and no such a big companies came which can provide a higher jobs.

Placement Experience

I have earlier mentioned that plcement percentile is less. Small companies came for selecting students which do not offers more and provides very low salary.

College Events

Not knowing about the festivals till now but small cultural festivals happens in the college such as welcome for 1st year. Annual funtions happens annualy as known by the seniors and all have the oppurtunities to participate in the them. And the college also carries sports activities for the students.

Campus Life

Campus life is quite discipline and about the ratios i will say its Male and female,65:35 and we have respects towards our seniors for both boys and girls are given equal oppurtunities in any field which creates a good competition among us.

Alumni/Alumna

For our seniors we are always ready to give them respect and we dont have any interaction with them as they didnt want that. At every place we respects them and follows thier instructions as they says to us to do.

Exam Structure

Exams are quite simple with a semester each year between december month carries with practical. Our 1st semester will start from 16th december daily practical classes takes place and attending the classes are necessary to go with the structure.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.
