Eligibility hold good rank either in jee or in webjee under 20000 and 50 percent above in both 10th as well as 12. You can find all admission related details on their website of college.yes admission process should me more online based. you can easily apply for the process of admission but one shold contact the collage authority first and visit collage phisically and make sure about your disicion the campus of of collage is well and good no reser vation availed

Course Curriculum Overview

I chosse this course b.tech with computer science because it has great carrer opportunities and one can easily avail good package of jobs throgh it student and senior are good no ragging issues any major issueteacher are well and good at their job and the collage have very expert faculty faculty to student ratio is 1:10 the exam were not vere easy nother very tough for passing studying is the way for passing the semester exams the exam are vey difficult.

The collage has good intership opportunity and the company under collaboration with collage provided the works to students intrested in it the company also organises workshop and all so have the the right place for opportunity after internship the companies that provide internship in the colleges are TCS in Wipro and some other micro-level companies and some startups the chemical company is located around the college also provide internship in the field

yes the collage raises the fee very frequently as the demand of the collage is getting high among the students the collage has raised its fee 4 times in three years yes the collage also provides the financial assistance to students or those who are in capable for paying the fee but have desent marks in studies .pragriti is the program through which college helps The mentors of the class provide assistance with scolarship i got video editing job in Nevidita a organization in collage .

Campus Life

Now a days all annul and tech fest are suspended due to covid but will soon be conducted again in the name of uddan. The collage Library has ha huge collection of books not only regarding the syllabus but also some nobels and journls .yes class room has digital facility also table bench and board yes the collage has csi, samrpan , sawayn and more organisation .Campus life is very tough here you might get disappointed regarding this harassment and bulling are very frequents

Hostel Facilities

Hostes are good with a separate mess building for boys and in girls hostel the mess building is attached in one room 3-4 student are there provided with bed and table. meal is good for what you pay 12000 per year and in mess you pay monthly bills for what you eat. 2000rs is taken in advance for the moths and then at the end of the evey month they provide u the montly bill what you eat

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Likes

The discipline is followed very strictly.Also you have access to library which is good,teachers are helpful and no ragging policy which is strictly followed and has a decent environment.
Thery conduct seminars which encourages students.Many faculty members are knowledgeable experienced in their respective subjects and helpful willing to solve doubts beyond the classroom also.
The college has decent infrastucture including classrooms,labs and library .

Dislikes

While the curriculum is decent ,it lacks sufficeint practical implementation.More hands on projects,real world application and industry exposure would improve learning significantly.
Campus life can sometimes fell limited in terms of active student interaction.Opportunites for clubs,networking and collaborative activities could be improved.
The college comes under St tHomas School so the campus is not great it is compact and has a canteen.

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Likes

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Okay, I've applied for 2-3 colleges(IEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology kolkata, Techno India Main Saltlake) alongwith HIT Haldia. But I choose this college because of mainly two reasons- 1)This is near my hometown. 6-7 km away from my house 2)My some school seniors are also studied here so they said me to take admission here Yes I've got rejection from many colleges also because my WBJEE and JEE main ranks are not so good. But I was selected to take admission i some colleges also but I didn't make that because of expensive fee structure and poor placements. HIT, Haldia Better then Government Colleges of West Bnegal

I have got some government colleges but the placements were worse in those and this college has a huge number placements you know.. for addmission in this college 80 percent are from WBJEE 10 percent from JEE mains and 10 percent from management Quota. The addmission process is quite smooth just fill addmission form they will verify then pay the semester fee and your addmission is done ? verification step is most important there during addmission.
