Admission process was smooth and easy, i got admitted through WBJEE in which i got the Rank 8890 by which i got the Information Technology branch in my first round of Counseling.i didn't gone for further counseling then after. The form of WBJEE came between February to April. And if you are from Bengal then you can even enjoy reservation benefits but there is no reservation if you are not a resident of Bengal. Overall the Admission process is good.

I choose this course as i was very much interested in Computers and in first i wanted the CS branch but due to some reasons i have to choose information technology branch. The faculty student ratio is around 1:20, i mean 1 teacher over 20 students the teachers are very qualified and educated, most of them PHD Holders or have completed their master's from IITs. Even the exams happen at right time.

Students can join many companies for internships, there are many internships offering, also students can join based on their interest. Most of the time they got the job regarding their branches and work regarding that.

Haldia Institute of Technology has the best placements record in private colleges in whole Bengal, Students got eligible for campus placements from or after 6th Semester. There are more than 300 companies visited this year and almost 98% Students got placed. The highest package was of 40LPA this year and the average package is around 4LPA. The CS, IT, ECE, Chemical branch has better placements than other branches in the college. There is also option of off campus placements.

The fees of my course is around sixty thousand per semester, which is quite good and if i talk about fees hike then it's happen at after every 10-12 years, the courses in the college really affordable, the college also helps in getting scholarships as i was from bihar so i got the scholarship from bihar government which helped me on my way.

If we talk about Campus life then i think Haldia Institute of Technology has the best campus life in whole Bengal in private colleges. If we talk about books then its has a central library which has books more than 18 lakhs which is a quite good number, classrooms are well with all smart classes and Best Infrastructure. There also many clubs in college like technical club, entrepreneurial club, sports club and many more interesting clubs.

My hostel is best they have attached Bathroom, with a bed, a big table, chair, and many more thing, even there is Wifi facility in our hostel. The hostel has a big playground with many playing equipments like volleyball, kabbadi, cricket, football, badminton, Carromboard and many more playing equipments. Registration process for hostel was quite easy got the room easily. Locality is also good the nearest mall is at a walking distance of 1km.
