CAT was the entrance exam I took for admission in IMT Ghaziabad. The cut-off for the application process is over 90 percentile. The application form and details on application fees and dates can be found on the college website. The admission process is quite efficient and the faculty and students are very warm and helpful
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose a major in Finance due to my interest in the field. The curriculum is exhaustive and the faculty well informed, helpful and able to impart information that is easy to relate and comprehend. The faculty:student ratio is around 1:50. The exams are timely and conceptual, a bit difficult.
Internships Opportunities
There are several internship opportunities available with IMT. The college is visited by several organizations for the summer internship process. The average internship package is around 40000 per month.
Placement Experience
The placements are quite good in IMT Ghaziabad. There is a very high placement rate. The average package offered is above 15 lacs per annum. The summer internship placements are also very good. A high number of companies visit and make offers during the process.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is an opportunity for scholarship on the basis of merit or if someone is financially unstable. The cost of education is on the higher side. The average stipend during summer internships is around 30000.
Campus Life
The annual fest Passion is conducted in December. There are fests and events from different clubs and committees of IMT G. There are various clubs and committees to be a part of depending on each person's interest. Football, cricket, basketball, volleyball and badminton are played regularly. The library and classrooms are state of the art.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms in the hostel are clean, equipped with air conditioning and necessary furnishings. The meals in the mess are okay in quality. The hostels are affordable. The registration process for them is also simple and efficient.
