AKGEC, B.Tech, Electrical And Electronics Engineering

Reviewed on Feb 20, 2022(Enrolled 2020)

Remarks

Till 2020 AKTU(Formerly UPTU) conducts its own entrance exam UPSEE (UTTAR PRADESH STATE ENTRANCE EXAM) in which I scored AIR 5339, But from 2021 AKTU accepts the score of JEE MAINS in its upsee counseling, reservation benefits are mainly for the candidates who qualified their class 12th from Uttar Pradesh as there is state quota of 85% for them.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took Electrical and Electronics because it open both the side (IT SECTOR & CORE SECTOR), faculty to student ratio is1:15 as there is one mentor appointed for 15 students for the whole course, most of the faculty have completed their doctorate degree, class test are conducted after completion of each unit.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Bosch provides internships for students of branch electrical, electronic and mechanical. Infosys provides internships for students from branch cse, it, ece, electrical. L&T provides internships for students of branch civil and mechanical.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester you're eligible to sit in the campus placement. Companies visited this year are Amazon which took 30 students at 26lpa, Walmart took 5 students at 28lpa and other recruiters are tcs, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and many other it companies. The best thing about this college is it allows every branch to sit in campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

140000 is the fee for the first year and from the second year fee varies from 120000 to 130000, scholarships are given by the Govt of Uttar Pradesh you'll get 40 to 45% of the fee refunded if your annual income is less than 2-4 lakhs.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is good as AKGEC campus is the biggest(42 acres) and the cleanest campus in the university, there are clubs for everything like Dance, Photography, modeling, Art, Robotics, automation, coding, etc. Sports facilities are good college participates in intercollege competitions.

If you're in lucknow, Look no further.

Likes

The looks of the campus are stunning. Open fields and everything
Events are hosted weekly, allowing everyone to participate and host
Extracurricular activities are well respected

Dislikes

In a secluded area of Lucknow. Hostel recommended

Placement Experience:

Our Placement packages are pretty low online. It's primarily because every course, High tier, Low tier gets an on campus placement. Computer science has a very good placement ratio. People who don't get placements ussually are the ones who didn't even apply. Around id say 80 percent people get placements and my plans are to look off campus.

My Experience at Sanskriti University: Campus Life, Academics and Opportunities

Likes

The course offers a good foundation in computer science and AI, with opportunities to improve technical skills.
Campus life provides opportunities to make friends, interact with classmates, and develop communication skills.

Dislikes

More practical sessions, live projects, and industry-oriented training are needed to improve student skills.
Placement preparation, internship opportunities, and career guidance could be improved for better job prospects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose CSE (AI & ML) because of my interest in artificial intelligence and computer science. The curriculum provides basic technical knowledge for higher studies and career opportunities. More practical sessions, real-world projects, internships, and interactive teaching would improve learning. Internal assessments and semester exams require regular preparation, and difficulty varies by subject.

“A Good College for Learning and Growth”

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

What I heard before about the placement is totally different from what it is. I mean after spending more than 6lakh the average package of btech is around 4-5 LPA and the ratio is like 15-20% only. No big MNCs like Amazon Flipkart Deloitte or any other comes here.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
