A roller coaster ride to imt ghaziabad

To become eligible for the course a candidate must have an undergraduate from UGC approved college. A valid cat or gmat score and then apply in November for 1st round which ends in December and again opens in January post cat results. The admission process is quite smooth and very easily approachable and doable. The staff of the admission committee is very caring. So overall the process is quite well designed.

The course curriculum is so well designed. First of all the preparatory course is conducted which is of 1 month so as to nourish every student's skill. Then the next two terms are common for all the students and after specialisation comes into play. The whole journey is a roller coaster ride and there is very much to learn in these 2 years. The student faculty ratio is also 50:1 which is very very good as compared to other b-school. All the faculty are well qualified from top tier colleges and also have corporate exposure to their profiles which helps students in better learning. The exams are conducted at end of every trisem and if you study well it is not difficult to pass the exams as all exams are mostly analytically based.

Every specialisation has various opportunities for its students like I am a student of finance so there were roles in relation to investment banking, treasury, wealth management, product management, credit review and appraisal, risk analyst, technology management, financial planning etc so there are numerous opportunities available to the students. Most top tier companies which come are Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Silverdale, jp morgan chase, NatWest, credit Suisse, sbi cap markets, Macquarie etc.

The summer placement starts in September itself and goes till October end. And then finally placements start in November and goes till December end but this year the placements were outstanding as all students got placed in just 17 days only. Around 200 companies are visited for the placements and avg packages are 1580000 and highest is 3800000.

The fee structure is 19,40,000 for 2 year PGDM course including the hostel fees and mess fees. Also, students can get loan facilities from various banks. Scholarships are also granted by the college itself to extraordinary students.

Ohh the question is quite interesting as it is in the mouth of every student. From my experience I believe that life at the campus is just amazing how time passes away does not even remember. There are 16 clubs and committee for the students through which they develop various skills and expertise and gets hand on exposure to the changing environment. Various sports events take place on the campus itself both within intra college as well as inter college. The library is also very resourceful as our college is one of the fortunate colleges that have their Bloomberg labs in their library for all those finance enthusiasts.

The hostel accommodation is also provided to each and every student besides the mess facilities. The quality of food is superb as compared to other colleges. The rooms are properly ventilated and are cleaned regularly.

There was only the personal interview process and one short video explaining about myself and work experience if any. The process is super smooth and for preparation i always preferred to read the economic times newspaper.
