Remarks

Atharva college of Engineering is very good college. Only the people who work in the examination section doesn't have a good attitude towards the students they treat them badly and disrespectfully sometimes.Leave them aside and the College is awesome!!

Entrance Preview

I gave a CET exam and scored 90 marks in it and atharva college was very catchy for me it has a swimming pool and a good infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is very good if you focus on learning you will learn many things The first year is hard though. It has subjects from all the fields like electronics and mechanical, basically mumbai university wants you to learn the basic things form other streams too so thats a good thing

Internships Opportunities

Yes they provide internship. Generally it depends upon the field you are in like i am doing computer engineering so in my field they give an average stipend of Rs.7000/- to Rs. 8000/-

Placement Experience

4

Placement and jobs are pretty much good Infosys is the main recruiter in my college according to my field then Wipro and TCS and such companies also offers good job packages. average salary in my field is 3.5lacs to 4lacs per annumThe scholar students gets to apply for the interviews from their 3rd year some are even get selected

College Events

3

Ganesh Utsav is celebrated at its best in my college as my college name "Atharva" is just another name of "lord ganesh" also we have many Tech events like IEEE 360, Techithon are famous and students widely participate in these events also we have NSS which is a social service and awareness event. Teachers mostly oppose the events except "Ganesh Utsav"

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is pretty much affordable as compared to others. Nowadays Rs. 70000 per year is no big deal for engineering so when you want to do engineering you have to lose your pockets if somehow you didn't managed to get good marks in Entrance exams you have to take provisional admission in which you will have to pay 1.5lacs to 2lacs extra per annum now thats expensive and only rich people who can afford go down to this route

Fees and Financial Aid

You can always apply for a Educational loan they have very good policies you don't even charged interest till you complete your education and even then you get 6months. from then only you will have to pay interest. and interest rates are low too. But you have to be all clear in every exams other wise you have to pay the money back to the bank straight away so thats the only flaw.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio is 3:1 boys to girls respectively. Not much diversity about that. labs are good and well equipped there is a robotics lab in our college which is cool!We have a cricket ground swimming pool and basket ball court in our college and our college does participates in various sport sand extracurriculars. We also have coding and debate competitions as part of our extracurriculars. Every event is organised well and they are all very good

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No hostel facilities and mess food but i live in a hostel which is free for gujarati Bhatia peoples. My hostel's name is " Bhatia Balrakshak Vidyalaya" and is location in borivali west near veer savarkar garden from where you can easily get a bus for college there is no travelling issue. The food there is also free but not for humans(personally) very bad but still students eat that food i wonder how. there are many hotels nearby and its a good locality with a garden on a 2 minute walk.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't see much Alumni students in our college but they come for college events and celebration. I once met this Ex-student he was very helpful. Actually I had 3 backs in my first semester and he really help me focus and told me to hold on and not to give up. He was really helpful he also asked his friends to help me and tell me its all going to be okay.

Exam Structure

Exams are good and strict invigilator are there so that nobody get to cheat I personally like that because someone asking me from the back "hey give me the answer for 4 (a)" is annoying for me. So exams should be strict and everyone should get the exact marks they deserve so works for me.

Faculty

4

Faculty is very good very co-operative. Teaching skills are good. some teachers are not that good at teaching, we once had this ma'am whose teaching skills were worse ever then the whole class wrote a letter to HOD about it and they replaced her and the problem was solved just like that

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
