Remarks

To study engineering you should have a mathematics and science background I came to know about the college through newspaper and I went to their website to find the deadlines and the application procedure uh I referred to some of the YouTube videos about the application process it's also mentioned that if you get rank below 50 to get 75% scholarship if you get below 100 ranks you get 50% scholarship and if you are below 1000 rank you will get 25% scholarship. There are totally five categories in VIT according to rank. The one with the highest rank will be given a choice to choose his course and the ones after him must also choose based on the vacancy only .all the courses have been divided into five categories. Firstly the course is filled in its first category than the second and so forth. if the first category in the course is complete the next one should only choose the course in the second category. I suggest that that should also be a need-based scholarship for students

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I told this course because I had interested electronics student to faculty ratio in an online class will be 1:80 approximately. The majority of the teachers hold good degrees and the topmost teachers definitely hold a Ph.D. degree. Exams were conducted on a monthly basis and the exams are quite easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships forgiven by many companies like Microsoft industry funds offered are average. Joining VIT definitely gives us an opportunity to deal with high-tech companies. This will help in our future also.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students get visible from the 4th year. Companies visited and the number of offers given is available on the website. Most big tech companies like Microsoft Amazon visit regularly highest package of this year is 51L and the average package is 5 L. About 90% of students get placed my plans are to work in IT company.

Fees and Financial Aid

It would cost from 2L to 5L per yr based on which category you get into. I am currently in my first year and I didn't get any financial assistance scholarship or any stipend from my college. I guess the fees will be increased in the coming years that may be from 1 lakh to 2 lakhs.

Campus Life

4

Cultural in the college is very good natak is incredibly awesome. the availability of the books is also good. The library can also accept online the classrooms are well maintained and clean regularly. It has cricket ground mini football grounds running tracks, etc. Social groups and clubs are found everywhere on the campus.

Other Applied Colleges

SSN | Bachelor of technology in computer science engineering

My marks were not enough to get into this college

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Placement Experience:

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
