Remarks

Admission is through upcet counselling and a direct. upcet counselling form is available on upcet website. applaication fees is 1000rs.I have not availed reservation category. reservation should not be included in the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because this course provides us with better placement and also I have a bit more interest in this branch as compared to other branches. The faculty: student ratio is quite good as 1 teacher is provided to 10 students. Most of the faculty of this college have done their PHD from well known Institutions such as iit's. If you study their notes only you will easily get around 8.5 CGPA. The teaching method is very simple and student friendly . There are two types of exams that are happening in college is Internal and External, although internal exams are keeps happening more often in between 21 days of interval and after completion of 3 CAE (internal) external exams have happened. And the difficulty level of these exams is moderate.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Campus Infrastructure is so good. Have a college hostel for boys and girls.Ac and Non-Ac both, basket ball court, football court and so on.Library is also so much big and cafeteria js also there in the campus. There are seperate blocks for all branches.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college provides a 100% placement but I would say that they are based with University and place student of University more than college but you will get the placement of 5 lakhs which is fixed for computer science-related branch-like mine and over that it depends on you how far you can stretch it and in the recent year our college placements are raising.

Fees and Financial Aid

Class Size : 66 Course Fees : INR 120000 Internships Opportunities The internship is available in college many companies like colortoken , HCl, Wipro are come to take. Interns roled offer by company is of software engineer, mechanical engineering etc. project is an online software development

Campus Life

Life on the campus is very good. the annual fest is done in the month of July and the technical fest of all departments are separately done in the month of February. In the library all the books are present and also there was a digital library The classroom does not have ac. there were many clubs for the development of students run by seniors student which include coding club, gaming club, marketing club etc.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I really like my college . It is very good college around the meerut

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well. Exams like JEE mains and percentile above 85 is required for CS branch and vary according to course....Read More
