Remarks

The admission process is quite complicated , there are three type of mode to take admission in college. The first one is through jee mains , through UPTU counseling , second one is through management quota but the admission fee is more as compared to the other modes. Last mode is through merit based selection on the basis of class 12th marks . You can find the application form on college website. Reservation is provided on the basis of reserved category . Jee mains cutoff for COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING =90 percentile.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I select this course because computer science engineering is a trending course currently and due to modernization and technologies dominating the world, there is a large job scope here as well compared to other branches of engineering. In each class of B.Tech, there were approx. 60 students. Most of the teachers were either done M.tech or even done Ph.D. so they knew but few teachers of South. Exams were timely, as 3 continuous assessments, 1 internal practical exam, 1 external, and 1 theory final exam.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 123000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am a first year student so i don't know much about internship, May be in 2 years the internship was Mainly through skills and Aicte on the technology upon AWS, cloud, machine learning, etc. But students can find the internship of their interest as well and do that.

Placement Experience

4.5

College has a very good placement record and provides 100 percent placement. Many companies visit for placement like amazon, wipro, Samsung, Infosys, zycus, etc. Highest package is nearly 25 lakhs per annum and average package is nearly 5-6 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is quite feasible as compared to other colleges in the region. B.tech fee is around 1,37,000ncluding examination fee . U.P. scholarship is the scholarship they provide to students . Student loans can be taken easily.

Campus Life

4.5

There are various event conducted by college premises by the faculty member and seniors. Spot tournament, fest, cultural events there are many event like photography, dancing, singing, treasure hunting, coding competition.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More
