Remarks

The admission Process was upon merit basis and different branches were offered to the students. The eligibility criteria to get selected in any programme was too on a merit basis. I haven't availed of any kind of reservations during the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is timely updated and as per my information in B.Techt Programme, there are almost 150 professors or maybe more to teach B.Tech Computer Science Core Programme. All facilities are quite nice. There is three CAT( Continuous Assessment Tests ) every semester out of which CAT-3 is presentation based. After that ETE( End Term Examination ) is being held which is the final examination of the semester.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 159000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Now from semester 3 even the projects based on research and internships have been added to the credited course and so by the end of the 4th year you will be having 6 projects in total i.e.one project each semester. Talking about placememts I would say it's all upon you and how you try to grab the opportunities.

Placement Experience

3.5

The average placement goes around 4-5L per annum and many start grabbing the opportunities when pre-final year starts. For placements, I would say that it's more upon your own skills to stand different among others. Around 80-85% of students get on-campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is such that the annual fee for BTech Computer Science Programme is 1.59L and there's some additional fee for B.Tech students who have opted for specialization like AI/ML or Cyber Security or Cloud Security etc. The university also provides scholarships for students.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in University that take over different activities like for signing/dancing we have NoteVeda, and there's a technical club of University called TechnoJam and the management club under the name of Galgotias Management Team. Club heads usually take care of all the preparations regarding events and fests which are being held at the University. The members of the clubs are very active and intelligent. The faculty of University is very supportive.

Other Applied Colleges

UPES | B.Tech

Fee structure was very high.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
