The admission process was very simple. I just needed to download the form from the official website and just submit the application with all the valid details. After that, they called me up for counselling and I got selected there as a student. I got admission on the basis of JEE Mains as my cutoff was up to the mark they didn't hesitate to give the admission. It was a one day process without any kind of hassle. The application form can be found at different distribution centres near the college areas where you need to buy the form fill it up and submit it at the college office. That's easy and simple.

I always wanted to study mechanical engineering and this college was very much reputed. So I went here and it proved to be a good deal for me, totally worth it. The teachers are very helpful and responsive. Every student gets proper attention from the teachers because there is an ample number of teachers with vast experience. Almost all the teachers are highly qualified. Their degrees are PhD, M.Tech and some professors are doctorates. All the teachers have their own unique way of teaching and they always try to make us understand the topics in an easy manner. Every exam takes place at the scheduled timetable. Frequently unit tests and 2semester exams along with occasional surprise tests also happens every year. The exams happen with normal difficulty and the ones who will follow the class notes will easily pass all the exams with minimal effort! That much I can bet. So just try to understand the topics in class and succeed!!

Our college provides a moderate amount of placement every year. But over the past 1-2 years the placements are much higher. Many more companies have been involved with our college and that's a good part for our college. From the 4th year, a student becomes eligible for regular interviews organized by the college authorities. After cracking the interview round after maybe several interviews they get selected and are being reserved for their respective jobs. After successful course completion, they can join the job directly without any hesitation. As of now I'm indulging myself in many interview rounds and will gradually crack one of them. There are almost or even more than 40+ companies involved with our college. More than 50% of students get placed every year. The highest package given so far was around 9.8lakh pa. And the average package gave generally is around 4lakh pa. My plan is to join an engineering concern as a mechanical engineer.

The fees structure is very easily described in the chart provided by the college. All the fees are followed in a proper way with no hidden charges being charged. Our college has the lowest price charge in comparison to other engineering institutes of Kolkata, due to which many students come. The quality of study is also very good. Which makes our college budget-friendly for students. After the covid lockdown situations there's a slight hike in the price like other institutes but will that's quite manageable. Our college provides scholarships to every students who applies for it. The family income of the student must be under 1lakh per year in order to claim the highest level of scholarship benefits available. Other than that many other criteria of scholarships are also available.

The college campus is very big and spacious. The environment inside the college is completely ragging-free. So that students don't stress regarding that and they can enjoy their time in a free mind. The annual tech fest happens in the mid-year during the May-June month. And the annual cultural fest happens every year during the year-end, Mostly in the month of November to be precise. The library portion is enormous with a large collection of books and journals. Books comprise articles magazines engineering books of study and many more. The second most priority of our college is sports. Every year several tournaments are being organized by our college for the sports like cricket football volleyball for both boys and girls respectively. Many other extracurricular activities like chess treasure hunt dance art also happen here. There are 3Groups that are being run by the students. Code-Mania(coding club for students), Sargam(music club), Socio-club( for social works).
