Galgotias University Greater Noida, B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering

Reviewed on Mar 16, 2022(Enrolled 2020)

Remarks

Higher Secondary Examination(12th) qualified candidates, are eligible for admission in the UG course. Admission to B.Tech will be based on, Galgotias Engineering Entrance Exam(GEEE) conducted by the university. You can get all information about the application form, fees, dates, etc. on galgotias official website. The rest of the admissions will be based on marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties and syllabus are up-to-date with great knowledge content. Faculties are highly qualified and have good teaching experiences. This course syllabus is very nice and fully based on new advanced experiences. Semester exams held once a semester and it's too easy to pass.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 145000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is really too good. They tried their best to place you in good company. Around 600+ companies visit to provide the best-offered placements from different sectors. The highest and lowest and average package is 32LPA and 4LPA and 6LPA. Mainly, all(100%) got placed in top recruiting companies. I need an on-campus job with top recruiters in the core field.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is flexible ie,145000rs every year. For payment options, they will provide a bank option that is you can directly pay through your bank or Paytm also. If you have a financial problem you can take a loan from a bank. It also has a scholarship discount in fees if you score well in your semester exams.

Campus Life

There are no gender, caste or religion ratios, college is very restricted for these types of things. There is a lot of complaint desks, where you can raise your complaint. They are immediately taking action on such a case. There are a lot of extracurricular activities like games, dancing, painting, etc. Classrooms are fully digital with projectors. The library is available for reading books and issue books for a limited time.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning. The admission process was simple and east. Fill an application form and go to GCET and get everything done there that's all. No complicated thing....Read More
