NSHM- An Instution of Making the Student's Growth and Future

Get admission after giving JEELET exam. Eligibility of the course is that you have to pass class 12 if you are a general student or you have to pass 3yrs of full time diploma if you are a lateral student. You can get the application form from the NSHM College official website or can come to college at Durgapur, West Bengal to get the application form. If the students have 80% above in 12th or Diploma or belong to any financially weak background then they can get various scholarship schemes. The admission process is very improved for both offline and online modes. There is no other improvement required.

The course is very interesting where you can learn about various electrical equipment as well as can improve your knowledge. You get jobs in various good electrical companies like Tata Power. The faculty members are very helpful, you can get help from them any time. The maintains a very good friendly relationship with students. All faculty members are M.tech pass out with some of them having PhD degrees. Their teacher procedure is very nice. The internal exams are to be taken in every one month gap. And the sessional exams comes twice a year. A student who has good knowledge about the subjects, who studies well can pass the exams easily.

Byjus offers a 12K stipend per month in the internship for 2 months after that they will get 3L per annum CTC. While Pinnacle, Tata Power etc. Offers a 15K stipend for the first six months after that the salary will be 30-35K per month. Most of the companies provide good internship opportunities. The project of the companies will be based on GAVA, PYTHON or other programming training in an internship after they will behold the post of trainees manager or the post of the operator where they will have to handle various electrical machinery.

Students become eligible for compassing placement activities from their penultimate year(i.e. 3rd year in b.teceh degree). Companies like L&T, Tata Power, Tech Mahindra, Byjus, Yazaki, Pinnacle etc. have visited our campus many times. The highest package given by Tech Mahindra is around 7 lacs per Annum which is so far the highest for a Btech degree. Most 80% of students opt for placements every year, while others make plans for further studies. My goal is to get a job in a reputed company like Tata power or L&T from the placement after completing the degree.

Fees for any b.tech course varies from 1.20 L-2L for lateral entry students while it is 2.5-4L for regular entry students including all the facilities like library, lab etc. For the hostel, there will be other fee charges that will be added to the college fees. The various scholarships that the college will provide are- the Asha Jyoti scholarship, Waiver Scheme, Swami Vivekananda Scholarship etc.

The annual sports are conducted by the NSHM management. The NSHM tech fest i.e. Edufest occurs at every academic year's end(mostly in the month of November). We have a very well decorated library where you can get various types of books including Autobiography, Storybooks etc. Along with course study books. The classrooms are very large, clean and well decorated with projectors in every room. NSHM focuses on every sport including technical quiz rounds, essay round, art as well. We have various social groups like photography, Painting, culture etc.
