Entrance Preview

The entrance exam which I had given was AIEEE (all india engineering entrance exam )I choose this college bcz it provides good transport facility, apart from studies this is the only thing which the college can serve.

Course Curriculum Overview

College do not have any experienced staff, the students passing out of college are teaching there itself with No experience, no practical knowledge. College provides many options like after passing a bacholers a student can aquire masters side by side teaching to junior students.

Internships Opportunities

College has 3 internship programs in four year bacholers study 1st internship is held in college itself in second semester for which they do not give any stipend, For 2nd and 3rd internship they ask students to attend wherever a student wish to.

Placement Experience

There is no as such disciplined criteria set for placement, Placement programmes were held in college but most of the companies were related to one particular stream, like mostly for computer science and that also only 6-7 students were selected out of 300-400 students.

College Events

College is good in celebrating other events, They give good freshers party to new students and farewell party to leaving studentsapart of this college encourage the students for sports. Intercollege tournaments were held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure at my time was not that large or hard to pay college asked for 30000 semester fees and 14000 P/A transportation charges, but fees can be negotiable that is the mendatory fees set by registered university needs to be paid and rest college expenses can be negotiated.

Fees and Financial Aid

No college do not provide any loan to the students infact the charge heavy fine for late fees or even they do not allow the student to sit in internal exams which were usually held after 2 weeks of fees submission and if the does were not cleared the management did not allowed to sit in final examination.

Campus Life

Campus life was very good , The college life is said as golden period of ones life , mine college life was also very good millions of memories m still carrying with me which I can not forgetI enjoyed each and every party of college played every sports.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel was neat and clean, hygienic as wellthree times food, two times milk a day, Apart from studies rest everythig, all other facilities provided by college was excellent The hostel fees was also reasonable 20000 per semester.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

An honest look at campus

Likes

The university boasts an excellent, massive campus infrastructure with great amenities and highly diverse student crowd provides great cultural exposure
While the engineering batches naturally leans towards more boys (around 1:3 girl to boy ratio)
Availability off dedicated campus mentorship programming and technical club provided a great platform.

Dislikes

The campus administration enforced incredibly strict security and daily restrictions which feel a little overwhelmed
The total no of students in a course like cse is massive. So the competition for the high tier placement is very intense.
If we need any information or some help from the administration they will make it lag and go to that window this window and we will not get the information ww required

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Likes

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

I like the all facilities of my college. I give all the advantages and disadvantages of my education and college.

I also applied for the other college because I thought that in India there are number of colleges which provide better education but some colleges staff could not behave nicely like punjabi university patiala staff. Then I apply for another Coll but they are fake they just took adminission of students and can't provide education. So then my friend suggest me to study at RIMT university because he also studied there and I also like the college and the facilities of the college . The staff and students are very good and I like the system of college. The admission process of my college is they don't take any exam directly take admission. Then they need some certificates and 12th & 10 th marks sheet.
