Remarks

We get entry to this college from WBJEE which is a state board exam where you have to pass with some criteria so that you get this college. The applications form is found on the WBJEE website where you have to register with a minimum amount of 500 for the entrance exam. No, I don't avail of reservation benefits. No, all the processes are good for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want to learn about computers and their software, I am interested in this field since childhood. All faculty were good and the ratio of students is about 30 students per 1 teacher. All the faculty members get qualified from good universities, overall the teachers were good. Terms exam will be on time and the exam level is moderate so you can pass the exam if you work a little hard.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6 or 7th semester you can take placement from campus. Companies like Microsoft or IBM that come but not given any offer. The highest package was made is 11 lakh and the average package is 4 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. I haven't think what to do after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

No the education at Bengal college of engineering and technology fee was very less as compared to other colleges and the study was good at less fee. The cost of the study is very low so any children from middle-class families can learn and study from this college. I am recently in First year so I can't get a job right now.

Campus Life

NSS fest and the coding hack were the fests of my college where it was conducted by our seniors and the faculty members of the college. All books were of a good university was provided in this college and also the latest book we got from the library. Here we have a sports club where we can participate free of cost where the sports like cricket, badminton, tennis, volleyball and many other indoor and outdoor game were played in this college. We have a personal WhatsApp group where we were connected with all the members of the college including teachers and seniors.

Hostel Facilities

Here we got one room with two room seater including two bed, two tables and two chairs. Meal quality was average that is up to mark you can try outside if you want. The registration process of a hostel is very easy you can apply for hostel during your college admission. Here nearby you can take room nearby college hostel where colony like spray colony or etc.

Good Internship Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placement cell provides us with training programs and internships and also if the students are careful and disciplined in the classroms they can crack through job interviews. There is mock viva at the end semester and also some on campus hiring companies came in our college.

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Fair college according to me

Placement Experience:

Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.

The college is good for academics but there is no campus life.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average in the college. From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. About 60% students get placed in the college. The average package of our college is 3-4 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was around 13 lakhs per annum. I will choose to do M.tech after passing out of the college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
