Remarks

The entrance exam took place VITEEE. It was an online exam. A total of 150000 students took part in the entrance exam out of which I secured 3107th rank. The admission tool is placed on the basis of 5 different categories. The 5th category was the most expensive. It costs around 2400000.

Course Curriculum Overview

We do have a great faculty in our university we have more than 50 teachers for each registered course with high teaching qualification In our university, we have three exams in one semester that is cat 1 cat 2 cat 3 which consist of 30 marks for cat 1 and cat 2 and 50 marks for fat 1. Out of 50 marks, you have to score 50% in your final semester exam and in continuous assessment test, 1 that is cat 1 and cat to you have to score 40%. The difficulty level of semester exam is to high to score.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

95% of students were placed during placement and the remaining of them took had gone for higher education. The highest salary was offered by Microsoft and it was about 45 lakh per annum and the average salary offered by the companies is around 7.5 lakh per annum. The top recruitment companies for the course for Infosys TCS HCL Wipro Microsoft Accenture etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 5 categories. Category 1: 8 lakh for four years, Category 2: 12 lakhs for four years, Category 3: 16 lakhs for four years, Category 4: 18 lakhs for four years, Category 5: 20 lakhs for four years

Campus Life

College life is very hectic. Though there are many co-curricular activities yet the students do not get proper time to participate in them. The infrastructure of a University is far better than any university in India we have different facilities in a university such as a library which is of two floors, we have great experimental labs for each field. Our classes are well occupied with modern gadgets Wi-Fi enabled and a condition classes the quality of hostel life is very good the food which we get in mess and canteen are extremely great quality he has sports ground but it is of knowing you since due to pressure you will not get time to play anything?

Hostel Facilities

There are four different types of rooms Such as 2 bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom and six-bedroom. The quality of food is much better than in other universities. The mess provides regional as well as food to various other states.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

My insights on Vit Chennai

I applied for very less college.since my cut off was low the possibility of me getting any Anna university affiliated colleges were less. So i wrote entrance exam for Amrita University and Vit. I did get Amrita but felt Vit had better exposure. They were lot of reasons as to why I chose this college. Of most the colleges I searched this had mechanical with specialisation courses. Doing a minor in something will make me a step ahead of every other mechanical engineer. I also compared the curriculum with many institutions,this was far by the best with perfect exposure. They have variety of other non graded courses to help me focus on my hobbies and interest. Their tie ups with many foreign institutions and industries will be an advantage for me if I use it in the right way. Again the only way of getting into Vit is through their entrance exam VITEEE. Since my cut off was low I had to rely on these entrance exams.
