Remarks

The admission is based on a class 12th basis as well as jee mains mark. the application form can be found on the college website. the application fee is approx 1000. all reservation benefit is based on Up government reservation criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I want to develop my carrier as a data scientist. The faculty is good enough to teach subjects for semester exams. most of the faculty is assistant professors having PhD degrees. The exams are conducted twice in the semester and one external exam.

Class Size: 125Course Fees: INR 109000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

From 6 semesters onward students can sit on placement the companies that visited mostly are Infosys Wipro TCS byju's tech Mahindra. The highest package offer was 20,00,000 per annum while the lowest package offered was 5,00,000 the average package is 4.5 lakh. Almost 90% of students from the IIT section got placed in some companies. After doing my b tech I want to join some good Mnc's and pursue my career there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is approx 125000. the cast to study is good if you are getting up government scholarship. The scholarship is based on the Up government provided by Samaj Kalyan bhibhag. you will get approx 57 k scholarships if you belong to another backward class.

Campus Life

The annual fest is called unifest while many other fests are organised by different clubs. when freshers come to college freshers parties are being organised by seniors. many times dg night is also being arranged for students where you will get many fun and recreation activity.

Hostel Facilities

I am not sure about the girls' hostel but most probably it is 2 seater in 12k per month. boys' hostel is 4 seater rooms and large in size .it will cost you about 10k per month. there is also a cricket pitch and volleyball pitch for students as well as a badminton court. Mess is quite hygienic and good quality food is being provided to students. For two days special food is being provided to students. You can join many hostels like kaushilya, kcc, and alpha and gamma sides. You can pay your visit to knowledge park 3.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Likes

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well. Exams like JEE mains and percentile above 85 is required for CS branch and vary according to course....Read More
