Remarks
The eligibility of taking admission in the BTech course in KIIT is 60% in the 12th board with PCM. The student must qualify KIITEE exam for taking admission to this college. The form of KIITEE is free of cost and it is available on the official website of KIIT securing a rank under 1000, a scholarship will be awarded of Rs. 10k per month.
Course Curriculum Overview
In the present world, everything depends on technology so taking computer science as my career is the best option for me. The faculties are very friendly with the students. They will try their best to explain the concepts except for some of the professors. The student-faculty ratio is 12:1. Two exams are held every semester - mid sem and end sem and quiz tests are also taken.
Internships Opportunities
The companies which come for placement also give internship opportunities. If problem-solving skills and have some really good projects then most probably you will get an internship at most of the companies. This year 2022, 800 students get an internship in High Radius with Rs. 14k per month stipend. Real-life projects are required for an internship at good companies.
Placement Experience
Campus Placement is very good at KIIT. All the top MNCs come for campus placement after 3rd year and the internship opportunities start after 2nd year only. For the batch of 2022, the highest package is Rs. 52lpa by Yugabyte. Almost 100% of students get placed and I will go for the placement after I complete my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees are Rs. 1.75 lacs per sem and hostel fees depend on the type of room you choose. 3 seater non - Rs. 28k per sem, 2 seaters nonic - Rs. 40k per sem, 3 seater ac- Rs. 50k per sem and 2 seater ac -Rs. 60k per sem. If your rank is under 1k in KIITEE you will be awarded a KIITEE Merit Scholarship of Rs. 10k per month. The campus placements are also good.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing and KIIT organizes the KIIT fest every year this fest is the biggest cultural fest in Kit. The newly built central library is like an office of an IT company and comprises more than 30k books. You will find almost all the sports complexes. There are many clubs and societies for extra skills and co-curricular activities. The kit has almost all the sports complexes available for the students. KSAC- KIIT Student Activity Centre is for all co-curricular activities. The kit has also coding societies.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very well maintained with all the basic facilities and there is an option for Ac rooms also. Bathrooms are cleaned daily and installed with geysers. Mess food is decent and hostel registration fees are Rs.15k. Hostel Fees vary depending on the type of room you choose.
