LU BCA

When I applied for BCA in lu in 2020 at that time due to covid pandemic the entrance exam was canceled and admission is given to the students by their 12 percent. But now due to no covid, there is an entrance exam conducted by the University for admission to BCA. The admission process is good. The admission form is available on the lu official website.

I choose this course cause I have an interest in computers and coding. Students are like there is a fight for every seat in the admission process. The student ratio is quite good. The faculty is quite productive and have knowledgeable professors and qualified teachers. The teaching method is quite good. There are neat and clean labs for effectively. There are two mid-semester exams conducted by the University between a semester and the gap between them is like 40-to 45 between them. Exams are not too easy and not too hard it was if you study for a few days before the exams you will tackle them effectively.

Last year students become eligible for campus placements there are many companies every year that come to the college for the students like tech Mahindra, KP reliable, TCS, WIPRO, etc, and every year for BCA students there are 40 percent of students got selected by the companies. The highest package for the BCA students made by the companies is 5-6 lakhs per annum and the average package was 3 lakhs. 30- 40 percent of students got placed by the companies. I plan to work with any company firstly for some experience then I have to pursue a master's in computer applications

The fee structure is not at all good it was like all the other private colleges (70000/yr) cause it was a self-finance course. But at this price, it's not too bad for it. The scholarship is given to the students by the up scholarship scheme and by some other schemes. jobs are not quite good enough for this BCA course as it was an ug course but at all, it will give you an average package of 3-4 lakh per annum.

There are too many fests held by the University holi fest, Lohri fest,....and are quite good. Tech fests are also held in the university, there is no fixation on the month when they will be held. library facilities are quite good and have so many books related to our domain and subject and quite help students in the study with their syllabus. Sports are not quite good enough in the faculties. Some sports fests are held every year on the campus but there's a lack of sports equipment and balls. There are so many clubs running by the students as there is a coding club, sports (Invictus) club, singing (Melophile)club, dancing club, eSports club, etc.
