Course Curriculum Overview

4

After New Education Policy, overall academics curriculum has been improved. New curriculum is more relevant as compared to older one. The only issue is lack of quality professors. Every semester is of approx 4 months and mid sem is taken after 45 days after starting of session.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are very bad in our college. Now good tech companies visit here due to bad performance of students in selection rounds. The highest package was 26 lpa(off campus) achieved by a student who cracked GSOC other highest package is around 10-12lpa and average is around 3-4 lpa. Around 60-65% students are placed. I'll look for off campus placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees for Btech in lucknow university is around 1,20,000. It contains all the fees(caution, registration, development, lab, and other charges). Development fees is 25k per semester. Fees for all the caste category is same. Scholarship is given on category basis. General/OBC - 55-56k SC/ST : 125-130k

Campus Life

2

Campus Life here is very bad. What can you expect from a 70 acre campus? No hostel for btech students. Maximum 30 students get hostel every year in Management Hostel(Hostel for BBA and MBA students). Classrooms are OK and wifi is not available in entire campus. Limited timing of library and labs. Sports infrastructure is very bad and same goes for students run social groups or clubs. Only politics.

Hostel Facilities

2

As I mentioned earlier, there is no such hostel available for BTech students. But in BBA hostel, Washing machine, geyser, water cooler and wifi are provided. Meal quality is average, but unhygienic mess, menu is fixed for around 1-2 month. Same goes for female hostel (they don't have washing machines or proper wifi). Rented rooms or pg are better then hostel

Admission

I applied for IET, HBTU, and low rank NITs since my percentile was around 90. But during counselling, I gave preference to Branch over College so I choose LU because I got CSE-AI here. In order to get here in LU, you have to fill in for UPSEE/AKTU counselling. Cutoff has increased now.

Faculty

3

As I mentioned earlier, very few professors are helpful. Zeeshan Ali Siddiqui, Himanshu Shukla, Chandrabhan Singh, Rohit Yadav, Anupam Tripathi, Rachna Pathak, Khushboo Verma, Savyasachi Singh, these are the names of old faculty members who are helpful to students and their relationship with students is very good. New faculty members are arrogant and they don't behave in good way. There are total of 2 mid sem exams(best of 2 is taken) of 20 marks, 10marks for internal and 70 marks for end sem exams. Exams are neither easy nor tough.

Night Life

2

Nightlife is also very bad. There's a small gym with very few equipments and limited time for it. No proper cafeteria that run 24×7. Hostel is not available for BTech male students. 1 hostel for female which can accommodate around 100 female only. There are no such hangout places inside campus. The locality become silent after 10 pm.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in the college are average to good, depending on the branch and students’ skills. Several companies visit the campus for recruitment in technical, manufacturing, IT, and service sectors. The college also conducts placement training programs such as aptitude classes, interview preparation, group discussions, and soft skill development sessions to improve students’ employability.

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.
