Remarks

Eligibility of the course in Btech in Computer Science and Engineering is Minimum 60 percentage in Mathematics , Physics and Chemistry in Class 12. The form was available online on their website and Admission Process is fast.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was interested in programming . There are large number of faculties present to solve the doubts of the students and they are very helpful. Among them most of the teachers are highly qualified. The mid semester exams are called CAT exams and there are three CAT exams every semester.

Internships Opportunities

The students start getting Internship during Second semester. And almost every student gets internship from any course. There are many companies offer the internship like Wipro , Infosys , Cognizant, Vodafone, Idea ,etc.

Placement Experience

The students will be eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. In summer break college conduct training and Bootcamp in which only campus selection preparations is taught. Many companies come here for campus selection like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

During Admission you have to pay 25,000 rupees first and rest 1,34,000 rupees after one month of admission . The cost of every other courses are lower than Btech in Computer Science and Engineering .

Campus Life

The Campus life is very good here. There is also a cafeteria which has more than 17 shops. There are four blocks in our University - A block, B block, C block and D block. C block is mainly for CSE and A block and B block is for other departments and D block is the boys hostel. There are so many different clubs and annual fest is called UNIFEST.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees is 11,000 rupees per month and room are comparably smaller for 2 people to live. The mess' food is not that good. Food menu is ok and not that special . The Hostel very far away from main market and Metro Station.

At JIIT they have made it a rule that during 3rd final semester break all students are sent for intenrship and then the final PPO is given. Most students secure job from there and those who couldn't companies are invited at campus for them to try their best and secure a job.

Placement at KIT is decent . If you have have good CGPA and good knowledge of of subjects you can get a decent package . From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are various companies which visit the college for Ex: Infosys, TATA, Wipro , Josh technologies , Ambrane and many other small companies. Highest package offered is 18LPA. MY plan after the completion of the is to try for off campus for better opportunity and package.

I wanted to go to VIPS, Pitampura. I did get admission there but they did not update the 4 year course policy which was newly released by the govt on their website and ipu website. Due to this my budget messed up and I had to back up. I specially prepared for this exam but in the end I ended up going to a private university where I feel like I wasted my time and money. This university is not how it may look like. It may be good in terms of fees but the faculty and courses that get taught are like as if pursuing two degrees with no meaning.
