Eligibility criteria of the course were 50% in class 10th examination and 50% in class 12th examination, and 50% average. I found the application form online from its official website. The application fee was 500. You will get a reservation benefit if you belong to a reserver community like SC and ST or have applied through sports quota etc. The admission process was smooth. They will take your documents and certificates as proof of documents submitted online. The payment process included both physical (cash) and online payment methods.

I've chosen the course because I like it. I want a career out of this particular course. The commerce department is overall good and the oldest department of the university. The faculty members are also great. There are approx 300 students in our batch divided into 3 sections according to marks. The teachers and their teaching methods are good. They teach here in a way you will understand and remember for a long time. They are fun and strict at the same time. They change the teaching method according to the student's preference and how can they understand better. There are exams every 4-5 months. The semester is in every 6 months and mid-semester before any month of the semester to test the intelligence of students and guide them afterward. The exam questions are standard, they ask what they teach us in the classroom and what is in the course.

Since it is an old and reputed university all over India, placements and internships programs are vast for students from various departments. Many well-known and established companies visit the University for Recruitments of students. The students from the last year of their graduation or post-graduation are allowed to sit for on-campus or off-campus companies. Companies that come for recruitment every year are TCS, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Vodafone, etc. Yes, the university also offers internship programs for students to have a better experience.

The campus placements are good. You are eligible for campus placements from the 2nd last year of your course ending. You will get companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tata, ITC, and several banks visiting for interviews. The highest package offered by the company is 300000 per year. The students with good percentage and intelligence and also good knowledge of the social and financial world get good placements in the companies. The percentage of students getting placements are 70%. I plan to do a high course after getting my bachelor's degree to get a better placement with a higher salary in a well know and good company.The fee structure depends on the course and facilities provided to the students. The cost of study for B.com is 17500 per year. The scholarship program of the university also varies on the performance of the students and courses. If you are doing PG from the university, you will get a chance to teach the UG students at the university and get a stipend minimum of 5000.

The university conducts a lot of fun and learning fest for the students and Ravenshaw members. The main and most famous fest is the Ravenshaw Fest which occurs once a year. The other fests conducted by the University are flashmob, aadhya, aadhya2.0, Cypher, etc. You will find a series of books in the library to read or even you can issue the book from the library for a week and if you need it for more time you can reissue it after a week. Our classroom consists of projectors and a lecture table where we can join a mic for special events. Our university is very good at conducting sports events and other cultural or extracurricular activities. The sports events go through every month and send the group for matches to other universities for inter-university competitions. The main club is called the Red Empire, which is divided into many clubs i.e. cultural society, drama society, singing club, art club, etc. They are the clubs managed and run by the students.
