Spending too much time on academics can make us miss out on the chance to live a fitter and better life. University provide Gymnasium to students for enabling a healthier lifestyle for themselves.

The combination of well designed curriculum and existing technological capabilities have come to fruition rapidly as most of our university alumni are already employed by big Multinationals.

Fees is normal and B.Tech (Civil Engineering) course fees is 68,000 per annum.

Scholarship facility are provided for SC/ST under Ashirwad Scheme of Punjab Government.

Campus Life

The Lecture halls of our University are modern, equipped with ceiling mounted LCD Projectors and computers. The classes are conducted on separate floors for each faculty and the buildings have been designed in a way that lecture halls received less disturbances during lectures.

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.

I choose this university because of good repotation and this university is situated approx 30 kilometrs away from my village which ables me easy for daily commuting . i do not applied on another colleges because they are expensive which is not affordable for me and my family . Some good's and bad's of GNA University

I want to do B.Tech in robotics and automation engineering but this branch of engineering is not available in all the college because in all over the Ludhiana there is no college who has this branch of engineering and suddenly I called GNA university and asked that if they have that branch of engineering they said yes.
