After that you have to wait for the cutoffs and keep an eye for the colleges that you are eligible for according to your cutoffs through the portal provided at the Delhi University site. Once you are eligible for the college according to your cutoff you can go to the respective college along with all your documents and fill up the college application form, choose the subjects you want to opt for in your course and pay the fees online through the link they will provide and you will be granted admission in that college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because I was from humanities background in school. Faculty student ratio is good there are teachers available for every subject and even if they are not students can talk to their head of department about the regarding issue and they provide substitute teachers for the course or appoint a new one for that subject. Most of the faculty members are have done Ph.D. in the subject or course they are teaching so they are very knowledgeable about the courses and subjects they teach and are really good at teaching, explaining and clearing the doubts of their students. The exams were conducted timely with enough gap between them so that the students can study well without getting stressed, they were held twice in a year and were fairly easy to pass because of the time students get to study for them.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

There is an internfare held in the college where various different companies come to provide paid internship programs to students for various roles according to their courses and abilities. Through these internship and projects students gain the necessary experience required to already have an idea of the kind of work they will have to do at a job while also earning for themselves already before a job.

Placement Experience

2.5

Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Many multinational companies come to the college providing placements companies such as EY, Deloitte, etc. are to name a few. Packages provided by these companies are around 3 to 5 lakhs per annum according to the various profiles they offer. A grand CGPA of 7 and above is a must if one is looking for a good company to work in. Plans after getting the degree is to put the knowledge gathered in college to use and make something out of it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Cost to study was fairly low as it is a governmental college under a governmental university. So the students get subsidy by the government and there was not much of a hike in fees policy. College provided jobs at various multinational companies such as EY, Deloitte, etc. With packages starting from 3 to 5 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

3.5

There was a fest held every year with various different celebrities as guest and star performers every year. There are books and journals available for every subject in the library which can be issued through a library card for a specific period of time and after that it will cost 1Rs a day. Classrooms had nice and comfortable benches and tables along with a good number of fans and windows for ventilation. In sports cricket, basketball, tennis, volleyball, table tennis and chess were available in the college with an annual sports meet which also held competitions in several types of race, jumps, throws, etc. Other extra curricular activities consisted of a music society, dance society, drama society, etc. There are also many other social groups of different subjects which operates their respective social media pages about their subjects and the activities they conduct.

Other Applied Colleges

Aurobindo | B.A program

Farther away from home smaller than SBSC didn't have it's own field.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
