Punjab technical University (Main campus)

The admission process is very easy you just have to go to the official site of PTU and apply for the course. BCA admission is direct no other things are required only 12th marks But for Betech JEE mains are required. The cost of form filling is 2000 for admission

I choose the BCA course because this university was very affordable as compared to other private colleges/universities even the hostel is also very good at very affordable fees. If I talk about teachers 90% of them are PhD they teach pretty well. Also, complete the syllabus on time. But instead of study, you can't expect any other help from your subject teacher they just come to class teach and go away. But still. It is better than other colleges as I heard the experience of my other friends.

From last semester students are eligible for campus placement but only students who score more than 80% in the final results can sit in campus placement. A maximum of 50% of students get placed here from Betech. The average package is like 3 to 4 lakh and the highest can go upto 10 lakh you can visit the site for more placement information. In placement, the university is not good enough. My plan after my degree from this university is to do MCA.

Fees for BCA are 18750 per semester. If you are of SC/ST you will get a 100% scholarship. If you got 92% plus in 12th then you have to pay only 10000 per semester and to continue this scolership you need to pass in every semester. Sports quota scolership also available.

In PUNJAB TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY Every month there is one activity means like quiz competition, dance competition etc in the main auditorium. There is a big auditorium at University. There is a very big library here you can issue any book from here for 15 days free of cost at any time The University infrastructure is really very good full AC classrooms top-level facilities good benches University is really fully developed. There are my clubs like placement club, freelancer club, editing club, Singing club, Sports club etc all these are run and managed by Senior students there is no role of any teacher in this they only support us. The life of the hostel is very good.. hostel is 100% ragging free really there is no ragging here. If you are a sports player this university is not really good for you because still, the university is under development many new buildings etc are. Under construction even a swimming pool is also under construction.

The hostel is very nice. The best part is you will get an attached washroom in the room. In one room 2 boys live. Food is also ok every day you will get different items including snacks. The meal is very good No need to take pg because pg is more expensive than a hostel and also not good as a hostel

As it is a government University so admission is totally merit-based Like on basis of JEE MAINS MARKS AND FOR OTHER COURSES 12TH marks are required. no need to give a written exam. You just need to fill online form and you will get mail pr you can check online if you are selected or not
