To take admission we have to give jee main and on that basis branches are alloted . Admission form is found on TIET website and form fees is 1500 . It starts from starting week of June . Punjab students get 50% quota by which they are alloted in good at low rank and also there is one more way to take admission is that ylwe have to score good in boards
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electronics and computer engineering because it's a hybrid branch and we can learn both software and hardware and also their interactions at the same time which is very interesting and only some colleges have this branch. Faculty is very good specially for electronics they are very specialized.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies visit our campus and from 3rd year they start giving internships to the students of around 50k stipend and if student do good in their internship they give them PPO by the end of their intership Just be ready with skills and some projects
Placement Experience
Many big companies visit our campus and many student get package aroung 12-13 lakh with no efforts but we need to maintain good cg Average package is 8-9 LPA . Thapar will provide you many opportunities to show your talent but it's you who have to do the work so for placement college doesn't matter that much
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees fer term is around 190k and hostel is around 50500 per sem which will cost around 20 lakhs by the end of 4 years.talking about scholarship it is really competitive because we have to score good cg in starting years and also if you have good jee score than you can get a good scholarship
Campus Life
Life is really very good at campus because all facilities are provided here like lawn tennis, badminton, swimming pool , basketball Talking about hostel food it is really good as compared to other colleges and staff is really friendly
