Remarks
The admission process was quite simple and easy. There were no entrance exams. Admission was direct based on the 12th score with criteria of 60%. Eligibility of course is the 12th pass. Application form, application fees and application dates are all available on the official site of the college. I don't think there is any improvement needed in the application procedure.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I have an interest in this field and it is the hottest branch in the market right now. A number of faculty is also good in the college. Every professor and teacher is well qualified and trained. All are every good qualification in their fields. The teaching method is also very good and interactive. Term exams are conducted every 6 months and they are conducted on time after every semester. Their difficulty level is also moderate. If one studies for exams even 10 days before the exam he or she can pass the exam easily.
Internships Opportunities
Lots of companies come to offer internship opportunities in the campus 5th semester onwards. Companies like codenation are offering 75k/month internship for a period of 5 months. Another company Flipkart is offering its internship for 60k/month for sde role. Since I am not eligible to sit in the internships I am not able to tell about the projects to clarify the tasks.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good. Students become for placements from their 6th sem. Many companies visit campus each year some of them are Microsoft, codenation, TCS, Wipro, adobe, Capgemini etc. The highest package received was from amazon of 32 lakhs for the role of sde. Almost all students who are inclined towards placements get placed. My plans after getting the degree are to get a good placement in college and lead a successful life.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are low as per the prevailing market conditions and other college fees in the city. There is no fee hike in between the semester. Fees are 45000 per semester but for the first sem, the fees can be 2 or 3 thousand high due to admission fees included in it. There is no scholarship provided by the college. Only one scholarship for sc st students is given that is given by the Punjab government. I am in the 4th semester currently so I've not got any job till now.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is quite good as lots of activities and fests are conducted on the campus. Parivartan conducted in the month of April is the main event of the college and is conducted over a period of 3-5 days. Apart from it fresher's and farewell parties are conducted every year. The library is having most of the books but every journal or book is difficult to find. Classrooms are good but they don't have any cooler or ac only fans are there. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted very frequently like cricket tournaments, volleyball, badminton etc. There are many social groups and clubs run by students in the college to name a few IEEE, Kerberos, flaming desire and many more.
