Remarks

I have lot good remarks to talk about and also has been mentioned above as well. Negative remark about the college is that its fee structure is not affordable for all class of people. This is neither a good or bad remark, that the college is spirtually ori

Entrance Preview

During my time in 2002, entrance exams were not required. Also the college was under Anna university and later it become Deemed university in 2003 onwards

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum was also designed by Anna university that time. Overall it was good with little practical and industrial exposure. Electives were wide for polymer technologies at that time1. Rubber technology, 2. Paint and Adhesives technology 3. Composites and polymer usage in roads

Internships Opportunities

Internships are identified by college for students. However, stipends are not offered either by company or from the college. Students have to take are of their expenses.1. Apollo tyres 2. Suba plastics 3. Pricol No stipend

Placement Experience

4.5

In general placements & job opportunities are excellent. Everyone without arrears and bear minimum capability will certainly get job placements.1. Out of 32, 12 got placement in IT companies (WIPRO, CTS, INFY) 8 got jobs in polymer companies (WELSET, PRICOL, SUBA,HCL), 6 went for higher studies

College Events

4.5

1. Yearly, Technical symposium 2. Yearly, Industrial conferences in respective departments3. Annual sports day4. College day5. Cultural day6. Sports day

Fee Structure And Facilities

During my time (2002-2006), fee structure was decided by Anna university and the colleges are supposed to follow it. The fee that time was affordable with some difficulty. Per semester it was costing me 20,000 rs including tution fee, exam fee and college bus

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships and loan facilities are available. However, I was not eligible for getting scholarships and also did not avail any education loan for my studies.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was full of fun and great opportunities to learn, educate and develop ourselves. Most of boys and girls will participate in all events in the ratio of 2:1 (boys: girls)-Plenty of opportunities to take part in extracurricular activities. -Lab are well equipped with all required machines and equipment's-Sports are given prime importance-Competitions are plenty to showcase technical talent, knowledge power, communication skills, sports talent, literature strength etc. No shortage for it.As far as I was exposed, there was no problem of racisim or political issues or religion based issues or sexual issues inside the college premises

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I was a day scholar. However, feedback from my hostel friends was that, staying, security is good and non-veg is not served. So for non-vegetarians hostel food is not preferred.UG - 10,000 rs per semester for 1st year where 4 sharing in a room. Good beds

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is quite strong and active. Also senior students are quite friendly and colloborative.I had a pleasant and memorable experience with my seniors. Initially, i was afraid of them, later they become my good friends and have offered numerous help to me

Exam Structure

1. Every 6 months once semester happens2. During 6th semester holidays internship will be there3. During 8th semester final year projects will be there- Lab sessions were frequent and it will give good practical exposure

Faculty

4

Faculties at that time in my college were generally good and are well qualified and also they have the passion for teaching.1. Lectrurers - MS / M.Tech2. Assistant professors - M.Tech and PHD in progress, both academic as well industrial experiene3. Assoc
