Remarks

Management was good, supportive yes the accounts department was very lousy and unsupportive but overall a great experience and very well organised events and funding for all the events.

Entrance Preview

I gave Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) and scored 80 marks and 32000 ranks and selected Arya college at that time it was the best private college in Ahmedabad and also it was near from my Hometown - Udaipur. When visited the college loved the location and ambiance of the place.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Each semester has 6 subjects carrying 5 units each and in total 100 m each. and same each semester has 6 practical subjects including the research and those 6 subjects carry 100 marks each in Total 1000 marks are Each course carries 80marks for written and 20marks for Practical. Curriculum is vast and very detailed. We have frequent visits to the different workshops for practical training on lathe machines, diesel engine, etc. Research department is limited but students are free to carry on their own research with the help from Head of the Departments, and they support very well in these matters of creativity and innovation.

Internships Opportunities

No the college does not provide the internship, and there is not stipend for same. We have to find out the internship programs at our own level and apply in the desirable companies for internship

Placement Experience

3

Placement system is good and well equipped for IT and Computer science but it is not that sufficient and competent for Automobile or Mechanical students. Big companies like Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Compro, Tata Aig, Nagarro, Girnar soft but very few companies for the mechanical dept. It has placement ratio of 80% considering only eligible students. Two students in 2015 grabbed a package of 36 LPA

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is completely feasible and cost effective. You don't have to invest so much to complete the degree course at this college. The tuition fees is regulated by the RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) and the hostel fees is under college director supervision, which is only a bit costly otherwise as compared to other college hostels is less.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the RTU offers SWFS, student fee waiver scheme, which offers 80% waiver on fees for those students whose parents earn less than 2 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

4

Campus life as would say was the best because it was my college and always will be, the time we had spent there is irreplaceable, the friends the girls. girlfriends, and all those things that fun we had there was awesome. Sports was the USP of the college and frequently sports events were organised. Gender ratio was laughable for Mech/Auto branches, in our whole batch of 120 students 5 girls were there. however in CS IT branches it was almost 50:50

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities include the basic amenities like: Central AC, Wifi, Attached toilets. The warden takes regular rounds of the hostel to check back on the students and their activities. Mess food is best on sundays and 2-3 days of the week when some delicious items are made. The staff is friendly and food is okay not that great but still eatable.

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted by Rajasthan Technical University and the exam pattern requires student to pass in theory and practical both as well as individually in each subject. Total 40 out of 100 are required to pass out and in theory 24 marks compulsory out of 60 also practical requires 7 marks to pass. If you fail as per the criteria you can give the Back log paper next year with your juniors and still will be forwarded to next sem with any year log. It was very hectic seriously avoiding back logs was the toughest task.

Admission

Help: Include the details like how you procured the form, when the notification was released, how was the administration etc. The admission process was quite simplistic - 1. After getting the RPET rank and score the process for applying to various colleges start. 2. After that, we have to submit the counseling fee of 10,000/- (adjusted later in college fee) in which we are given a docket with the option form and Colleges list. All the documents are verified on the later stage at college level. 3. We are given the option form containing the OMR sheet in which we have to fill the college names and the required field of choice (like Automobile engineering, computer science, etc.) priority wise and it will be final in merit allotment. 4. Merit is allotted as per the scores and seat availability in the particular college. Merit list can be checked on the RTU results website. 5. After the merit is declared, candidate can opt for the required college and visit the college for admission process.

Faculty

3

The senior faculty is experienced but the faculty for 2nd year are new mostly and many who are passed out from their college recently or from this college only and working for teaching experience for M.tech. Still the faculty is maintained quite well.

The course is well structured and designed for students to learn the subject in detail and to know about topics in detail and make sure to understand things clearly before implementing them in real life. There are certain areas for improvement but they will keep get better. Timetable should be made such that students get break in between the classes so that they can be less exhausted throughout the day

Obviously there is a campussing process that gives the students the opportunity to get their desired job. You can also go off campus to get bigger opportunity, but it will be on your head only that means it's a risk. But the average placement provided by the university is 6 lakhs and the highest one is 72 lakhs per annum.
