Remarks

College management is not at all good. It contains emmense politics which affects student life on everyday basis.

Entrance Preview

CET, AIEEE. I chose AIEEE. Got 29 marks in 2007. Campus of the college was very attractive. I could see my future at a different horizon... I also wanted to participate in Drama events such as Purushottam Karandak and Firodiya Karandak...

Course Curriculum Overview

3

TCOER is affiliated to Pune University. Therefore structure of the course is always decided by UoP. So the examinations are also conducted by UoP itself.. Course structure is up to date as per requirement of time... As far as mechanical engineering is concerned. Deep knowledge of Subjects like Design, Heat & Thermodynamics had been provided along with some management and production subjects.

Internships Opportunities

No... It's a requirement now a days to have a professional experience before starting with any job. But unfortunately placement cell of TCOER is not at all strong. Need improvement.

Placement Experience

0.5

Minimal...College provides some opportunities but those opportunities are are enough for all the students studying there... Everyone has to search their own path after completion of bachelors degree. As everyone posses degree from UoP, one can get job very easily after passing out from this college.

College Events

2

1. Youth Festival 2. Firodiya Karandak Participation 3. Yearly Sport events 4. BAHA 5. All Cultural Programs Cultural programs are conducted by college every year for the duration of 5 days...During the same duration sport events are also organised. Every year college participate in the prestigious Drama competition called Firodiya Karandak.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Nowadays it's one of the expensive engineering colleges in Pune. Fees are beyond 100000 per year. No public transport is available frequently. Things provided in college are good. Equipment required for experiments are also good. But it's really very expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college sponsors the full education of bachelors for the top student. No other schemes are provided by the college.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is cool.... Sex ration is around 65:35.. Students are there all around India but local majority. Art wise college is good. Every year they participate in Firodiya Karandak Drama competition. They conduct youth fest every year. Overall development is very much possible in this college.

Hostel Facilities

2

Food is of average quality. No hostel was provided by the college when I was studying. Everyone had to search private accommodations for a living. College is situated at Khadi machine. Which is full of dust.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni has been set up 3 years back. Bit no movement till date. Personal student and friends network there on Facebook. But it's of no use I must say...

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted by UoP. Paper is set by the professor's working in various colleges affiliated by UoP. For all colleges under UoP exam for each subject is same. Paper contains 6 questions each containing marks ranging from 16-18... One question for each unit in the subject.

Admission

It's through AICTE application process.. It's a centralized process which everyone needs to follow. After Results of CET and AIEEE we have to apply for admission process within the dates provided by AICTE. We have to follow schedule provided by them... There were 4 rounds for admission. Almost all students can get admission as per their merit in a particular college allotted by AICTE in first three rounds...After 3 rounds if anyone doesn't get admission then he/she will have to proceed for counselling round which is 4th.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty of college is moderate. Some of the professor's are too good bit some of them are not. Especially subjects like Heat and Thermodynamics are well taught in TCOER. I will give 6/10 for the faculty. Most for them are pursuing PhD's. And some of them have already completed with PhD'd.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
