Remarks
1. I applied for all the IIMs and some other government colleges. IMT seemed to be the best for me so I came to it. 2. No quota availed for admission 3. Admission criteria for the exam were based on initial shortlisting based on CAT score and work experience. After this, an interview was scheduled. 4. Admission process was fine. IMT conducts everything very smoothly under the supervision of Dr. Vishal Talwar.
Course Curriculum Overview
1. Keeping in mind my future requirements, I opted for marketing. 2. Faculty to student ratio could be somewhere around 1:50. 3. Pedagogy and faculty are incomparable to any other B-school of the same tier. 4. Exams were super timely and it was easy for me to pass them all.
Internships Opportunities
1. Almost 50 companies come for internships with stipends ranging from 40k to 3lakhs. 2. People get roles like that of sales, Data analyst, operations manager, etc. 3. IMT Ghaziabad has a separate cell with faculty members as well as professional people to handle the placement cell.
Placement Experience
1. From the 3rd-semester students become eligible for campus placements. 2. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, BCG, Citi bank, etc visit the campus. 3. Average package is 15.5 lakhs. 4. Placement is 100% 5. Job
Fees and Financial Aid
1. The cost to study is 1953000 including hostel and mess. Earlier it was somewhere around 1700000, but now they have increased it to 1953000. 2. No scholarship or financial aid has been provided so far.
Campus Life
1. Annual fest I will come to know shortly. 2. All the required journals and books are there in the library. 3. In the classroom there is full-strength wifi and all the classrooms are air-conditioned. 4. All kinds of sports activities going on campus. 5. Alumni relations, placement committees, etc are some of the clubs at IMT Ghaziabad.
Hostel Facilities
1. In a room of a men's hostel, there is one split AC with the wall-mounted controller, 2 single beds, one fan, 2 almirah, and 2 tube lights. 2. Meal is superb. 3. Registration process was as smooth as butter. 4. Living in the hostel.
Interview Experience
1. There wasn't any GD. The interview was a bit about my graduation technicals, work ex-related, and some more stuff about my personal life. 2. Criteria for admission were the cumulative score of CAT 2021, work ex, and interview. 3. I prepared for all these rounds by myself, for CAT preparation I took a module on Time coaching.
