Remarks

KIIT takes their own exam called KIITEE, which is conducted in four phases, and we should score more than 70 to 80 percentile to get a certificate branch in KIIT. The application form is free of cost, which is quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Most of the faculty members in KIIT are good, but some exceptions are always there. Most of them are from good nit or iit and approx. 5000 teachers are there in college. There are two exams, one mid-semester and another end-of-semester examination.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are increasing; this time around, 400+ companies came, with the highest package being 52 lpa; the average for CS is now 12 lpa, and the overall average for college is 6.05 lpa. they provide is 100% placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 350000, which is high, but all good private colleges have the same fees; therefore, all colleges should reduce their fees, and KIIT should provide merit scholarships to the top 1000 KIITEE rank holders.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome. The evening weather and the greenery on campus are pleasant, and there is one central library and an attached library in each hostel, which is excellent. It is famous for its sports culture.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

REVIEW OF KIIT FROM A SECOND YEAR STUDENT

Apart from KIIT I also applied for PES university, VIT. I got confirmed admission in CSE branch of these colleges but these colleges are far away from my home. So distance is one of the main factors for not choosing other colleges instead of KIIT. For taking admission in KIIT one has to appear in the KIITEE examination which is conducted in CBT mode. After the exam result will be declared within a month. Then one has to sit for counselling for choosing the branch of their choice. The cutoff score is different for all the three phases. For example in 2023, a student securing 15 percentile in KIITEE got CSE core branch but in the second phase the cutoff for CSE core raised to 75 percentile....Read More
