Remarks

There was no entrance exam. The admission is mainly on 12th marks and counseling. If you've got pass marks in 12th standard you can get admitted to this college. The application form is provided in the office room of the college itself and the application opens as soon as the 12th results are published. There are also reservation benefits for students with lower income and those who belong to SC/ST.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm interested in electronics since my school days and it was my dream to join ece. The faculty-to-student ratio is 3 teachers for 50 students. The faculties are highly educated and most of the faculties are heavily experienced too. The teaching method is also good. The term exams are conducted once in 2 months and it's somewhat difficult to pass the exams.

Class Size: 1500Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The average fee is 180000 for counseling students and 205000 for management students. For SC and ST students scholarships also will be offered. Most of the students (i.e) 95% of the students are placed.

Campus Life

There are fests such as college day, hostel day, and women's day fest celebrated. They are conducted from Jan - Mar month. There are a lot of books available and 2 libraries are there and they are also so spacious apart from education-related books there are also novels and nonfictional books available in the library. The classroom is also spacious with a projector and screens and there are 6 lights and 6 fans. The college also provides opportunities for sports students and scholarship too for them.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

My cutoff for engineering was too low to join this college but the only thing that was a favour to me is my community. I come under a reserved community, and my friends who are from other communities with higher cutoff than me couldn't make it to Panimalar. My admission to this college was through Government Counselling by choice filling. Before my choice filling, I've heard a lot about Panimalar through Social Media and I've got fascinated by their placement percentage, food quality, transport quality, etc... So, I placed panimalar at the top of the choice list and It's the only college I chose from Chennai. I've made choices majorly from Trichy like K Ramakrishna Engineering College, Saaranathan Engineering College, MAM Engineering College and other colleges around Perambalur, Salem. I was so happy when I got an admission in Panimalar. They invited me directly to the college for the admission process. Me with my dad went for the admission. There was a huge queue sitting in front of us. We got amazed by the demand for the admission in this college. After all our time in the queue we finally got into the admission room. They first got all required documents and xeroxes from us including the printout of the admission invitation. Then we paid the fees for the first year including book fees.
