Remarks
Earlier admission was on the basis of UPSEE but now they are accepting JEE main rank for counselling procedure. If you want to have CSE-related branches, then your JEE rank must be under 2 lakh. AKGEC infrastructure is very very good. It has a canteen football ground, volleyball ground, and badminton court. The environment of akgec is totally green and polluted-free.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was very much interested in electronics that's why opted for ECE. I don't have a very clear idea of the student-faculty ratio but it is very good from other third-tier colleges. The faculty of my college is very good.
Internships Opportunities
our college provides different categories of internships. The college has its own KUKA robotics, TIFAC, and AKGEC Skills for internships. To my knowledge, there is no stipend under college-provided internships.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, opportunities start to come for the placements, and more than 80 companies visit the college. MNCs like, google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Walmart used to come to the college for recruiting students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees on akgec are around 1.2 lakh every year and in the first year, u have to pay around 1.5 lakh because in the first time we have to pay caution money also. The only scholarship we get is from the UP government.
Campus Life
To be honest there is no annual fest. Few tech fests are organised in the month of April. There is a huge central library in the college which consists of thousands of books. There are several societies like SI, phoenix, taal, and goonj.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is a little bit expensive but it owns every facility. It has a playing court, good food in the mess, and neat and clean washrooms and toilets. There are 2 seater and 3 seater rooms for the freshers and in the third year you can go for single rooms.
