Entrance Preview

I have given an entrance exam to take admission into MCA, Apart from that, I have also appeared for OJEE entrance. However, looking into the college infrastructure, previous students comments and previous history about this college, I have decided to take admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is really good, you'll get overall knowledge about each and every subject. The Computer LAB infra is also really very good. Teachers were also very friendly, they used to take extra classes for week students and were already ready to clear the doubts. Overall the course syllabus was very good and was designed as per IT industry standard.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Our college provides the internship. However, I have opted to take the internship from an outside organization and selected Hyderabad, as there were so many IT start-up companies and I can explore more about the industry.

Placement Experience

During our pass out a year, there was IT recession was going on, so we didn't get any good placement. However, there were students, who has secured more than 90% have selected in the campus for Wipro, TCS, HP, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra. Overall, 30-35% students were selected for campus and were offered a package of maximum 2.9 LPA

Exam Structure

Our syllabus was designed in a manner, so that, we have to give the subject test monthly. Few subject tests were online and few are offline. LAB infra was very good. All the exam halls were equipped with the CCTV camera. The marks obtained in the monthly test were also included in the final marks.

Faculty

All the faculties were very talented and highly qualified. They used to give lecturer in a professional way. After 2-3 theory classes, they used to take one practical LAB class where they used to explain in details the flow of a program. All the faculties were ready to clear the doubts at any time and also used to take extra classes for weak students. Some faculties were also used smart classes for a better demonstration of the subject.

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the college campus have a big area and sports ground to very much good
The faculty is very every teacher are and friendly and helpful and very students friendly
And the ratio is the equal for boys and girls

Dislikes

The only thing I don't like that we have less parking in the college campus
And ok Saturday also there is college yrr

The placements is good in this college because Lab that play yeah there is a campus placements every big companies like big 4 are there and it's good for the students for getting the percentage and the percentage of students get 90 previous year around 93% of students got placed from the College placements my plan is to after getting this degree I will make sure that I will get a job in Big force I will try

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available for students generally during the final year of the MCA program. The college provides sessions for resume making, mock interviews and soft skills. The placement opportunities and packages vary each year depending on the companies visiting the campus and students performance. After completing my MCA, I plan to build and apply my technical skills by securing a job in the IT sector.

ICEM for MCA is good or bad

Likes

The faculty and teaching member are knowledgeable and supportive . But they lag in explaining concepts . I think the every college has the same situation.The teaching is focused on books concepts rather than practical.The teachers lags in practicals.
The campus has a very very good infrastructure including high storage and RAM computers in the labs on which most of the software necessary for the programming works . Along with that the wifi is only avaiable for the Hostel students .Library is good
The college environment is friendly. I remember one event where Arsh Goel came for the students to motivate and give his insights on tech. Along with there is a sport ground for cricket, football, basket ball, gyms is available with provided items..

Dislikes

As well on the other side fake companies and smaller companies came like one fake company came name Data Tech Labs. Also opportunities depends on the TPO . In our time TPO was not good .For last batches TPO was good. And we had good placments ....
Real-world projects exposure will improve learning experience. I think students should be free to do internships after 1st semester . and in the 3rd semester the focused should be more on final placments..
Canteen is good but the prices are pretty high for the simple food . For a simple vegeterian thalli we have to pay 90 rs in which we are not able to have the sabji again and again . It is one time filling. And other items have little high prices....

Placement Experience:

Placments are really good like 4 students got 12 LPA at crowdstrike after successful internships. I think in our class 20 students got placed from college side and i think it can be improved , the college should give more freedom to students for their preparation rather than focusing on attendence Good companies like Delta Capita, Crowdstrike, Vanderland, Winspire Solutions came to the campus. The placment usually starts from 3rd semeser .

Strong support from faculty, whenever students asks faculty for help they always supports.
Up to date curriculum, syllabus of the college is up to date with current trends in the industry
Environment in the campus, more oxygen level as compare other colleges

Dislikes

Food quality in the specified canteen, canteen food sometimes feels very disgusting.
No options for without onion garlic food.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from sencond semester it self. Per Students 30 companies are offered by the college. The highest package from last year is 12LPA and average package is 5LPA. Interships are also provided by the college.

Excellent College

Placement Experience:

from the 2nd semester itself, the students are eligible for campus placements. companies like Capgemini, wurth-it, Godrej,Infosys, TCS, and Sankey visit very often and make a good no. of offers. the average package is around 4-5Lpa for freshers. about 80-90% of students get placed. I plan to work and learn after getting the degree.

A perfect college

Remarks:

In the final verdict, I would say MIT Group has many colleges in this campus which are among top 3 colleges in Pune. MACS College certainly is among top 10.
