This college does not require any entrance exam for admission. Eligibility to join this college is to get above 75% in 10th and 12. Reservation of seats is also available in this college. The admission process is done in the admin block.

This college has about 15 courses. The faculty members of this college are much talented. They are well qualified and experienced in teaching. Every class of each department contains about 60-70 students. There are 2 semesters in a year.

This college has a moderate placement with many IT companies. From the 6th semester,, we get placement by our skills and talent. Zoho, Wipro, HP, are some of the companies that visited this college. Every year maximum number of students will get placement in any of the companies

This college fee are slightly lesser than other private colleges. The tuition fees are around 140000 and book fees come to around 20000. Scholarships are also accepted in this college. They didn't charge any other amount other than tuition fees for campus jobs.

Campus life in this college is very amazing. This is a green campus with a clean environment. The classrooms and infrastructure of this college are excellent. This college has fully air conditioned. The library has 15000+ books.

Hostel Facilities

This college has a very clean and neat hostel. The hostel has all facilities with an in-built store, gym, playground, computer lab, etc. Hostel fees are around 80000. They provide Veg as well as nonveg food for students. The hostel has about 150 rooms each room accommodated 4 students.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The faculty were very much friendly and very knowledgeable in practical teaching
The Lab facilities is very good for the students to improve the coding knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas.My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

My cutoff for engineering was too low to join this college but the only thing that was a favour to me is my community. I come under a reserved community, and my friends who are from other communities with higher cutoff than me couldn't make it to Panimalar. My admission to this college was through Government Counselling by choice filling. Before my choice filling, I've heard a lot about Panimalar through Social Media and I've got fascinated by their placement percentage, food quality, transport quality, etc... So, I placed panimalar at the top of the choice list and It's the only college I chose from Chennai. I've made choices majorly from Trichy like K Ramakrishna Engineering College, Saaranathan Engineering College, MAM Engineering College and other colleges around Perambalur, Salem. I was so happy when I got an admission in Panimalar. They invited me directly to the college for the admission process. Me with my dad went for the admission. There was a huge queue sitting in front of us. We got amazed by the demand for the admission in this college. After all our time in the queue we finally got into the admission room. They first got all required documents and xeroxes from us including the printout of the admission invitation. Then we paid the fees for the first year including book fees.
